Whats your D2 fears? Be honest, not a rant thread, not really
For me, it's PvP still being a laggy mess due to sbmm bands, matching people from all over the world. For the love of God I hope they regionalise it better

My biggest fears: #1. That there will be no separation of social and ranked pvp playlists. #2. That shady SBMM practices will still be present in all pvp game modes #3. That Trials will remain the way it is #4. That PVE will still stay a bullet sponge/level based system, where the hardest AI is as stupid as any Halo AI on Easy. #5. That the player population across all activities will be low

Bungie listening to those that do nothing [b][i]but[/i][/b] whine about anything they can. That's honestly the Cancer that's spreading. It started small, like most Cancer does, but it spread out & consumed so much now...

Plant zombie flight attendants are my biggest fear in D2. Wait, wrong D2.

That I will spend money on something that I hardly have any time to ever play. Especially if there are even more limited-time activities. Also, if they fail to get a reliable system for the Raid and Nightfall matchmaking. It would also be nice, I think, if they still included an option to go solo if you wanted.

D2 fears? Fear #1 - Having our hard earned D2 guns/gear become obsolete (usually about the time I get them). Fear #2 - The Damage Referee manipulating PvP outcomes.

PvP I'm not really bothered about, although I'd probably give it a go at some point. Mainly, I'm concerned about Sunbreaker. I'd love it to still be in simply because its a) in the Lore and b) my favourite subclass hands down. The concern mainly stems from Dawnblade is essentially a tweaked Hammer of Sol so what will they be doing to my hammers? If of course they're even in D2. I was really concerned before about losing all my kit, gear, weapons, etc but after thinking about it and seeing the reveal, I'm not bothered now. The revamped subclasses on all look great (I'm even excited about Gunslinger and I main a Titan), and since team tactics, subclasses, weapons all work together well, I'm even thinking strategically about PvE uses too.

That's what I'm most looking forward to, honestly. Just exploring planets and finding hidden things. And that the skill trees are finalized as we saw them during the reveal. I pray that they just showed temporary skeleton skill trees, made for basic understanding, and left the in depth ones hidden and waiting to be discovered.

1 ReplyEdited by Altoryu: 6/6/2017 2:34:16 PMI'm worried about everything. - Worried about the story being lackluster. - Worried about the PVP players effecting the balancing again due to Bungie not having a bloody clue how to separate PVE and PVP. - Worried there will be more exotic quests that will require us to do some ridiculous things like the Chaperone quest did. - Worried there will be no ingame character customisation after character creation. - Worried the new weapon system will make the gunplay feel a bit too samey now that most special weapons were stuck in the heavy slot. Just to name some cause after the entirety of D1, forgive me for not holding my breath on D2 being a step up from D1.

I'm really hoping for more story content and story based game play. Roi was over in a few hours, which was disappointing. I try to find games that have a great story for me it's like reading a book or watching a film that I can interact with an play the character. I'm not hoping for something as good as TLOU but I'm hoping for more for my money

I worry that it will be the same as Destiny as in there will be a lack of content multiple times as there will be one raid with patch droughts not adding anything new until the next paid DLC way down the line, causing people to once again take long breaks until the DLC is released and then quit again as the only thing to really do is log in on reset days to do the raid.

I am worried the game will not be different enough to be called Destiny 2. From what I have seen so far it looks like a simple expansion pack. I hope I am wrong. 4x4 crucible too. It will be nothing but sweaty matches every game with the same lag issues Destiny 1 has.

If I wanted to play halo I would just play halo this game has changed so much from year 1 its a a shell of it's former self and that's not a good thing imo. So I cancelled pre order I'll play open beta if I like it which I'm pretty sure I won't I'll just move onto something else.
