Just got it. Arrived in the first planet you actually explore and got the vehicle and all.
And ive come to the conclusion that i dont think i have the patience for this game.
Its not the game, its me, my taste. Cause i know other ppl who have finished it and enjoyed it but im just not having much fun, not even with the combat.
Progressing through it feels 75% chore, 25% fun.
Have u ever been in a similar scenario with a game, if so which?
I feel like i wasted $65 for nothing lol

I can agree. I've completed like 98% of the quests, the other two percent are those planet wide scavenger hunts with no hints. No -blam!- that

2 RepliesTell me about it I pre ordered it and it felt like 2mins at the end of a mission where I was jumping around shooting having fun then I'd unlock all the talking seens all over the place which would take up the next couple of hours so I stopped playing for a couple of months while they were supposedly fixing the game then when I returned a couple of weeks ago the frame rate was just constantly terrible so I deleted it.

I felt the exact same way for the first couple hours. It gets more bearable as you pick up your crew and unlock weapon upgrades and such but it's not a great game by any means.

3 RepliesI forced my self to finish the game but I skipped all dialogue so I have no idea what my choices ended up being lol multiplayer was boring to sadly

I liked it better the second time I played, of course the patches and a new pc helped. Being able to carry your skills, weapons, armor and upgrades to the next play through helps a lot. I checked out some videos others posted and I understand their complaints. I liked the game playing it on my laptop but I really enjoy the game playing on the system I have now. It's my new favorite game to play now. I had the same problem with Witcher 3, was so hyped for it's release I bought a season pass with it. But it just sits on my xbox and haven't even installed the dlcs. I may try it again when Scorpio is released since it's had some patches.

It's just an overall bad game, the only good thing about it is the combat Mediocre story, boring and bland characters, repetitive gameplay, subpar graphics, cringey voice acting
-
I lost interest pretty fast. Which sucks since I really liked the older games so much. One day I'll probably give it a go again when I'm on a shutdown vacation or something.
-
That's pretty much my problem with the game. While that is an okay build for Dragon Age: Inquisition, it doesn't work for Mass Effect, or rather, it isn't faithful to the rest of the franchise.

Stick purely to story and it should feel more streamlined

2 RepliesThat's how I felt when I bought MEA, and I LOVED ME 1 & 2. That said, after I reached level 29 I started to enjoy the game. However, since it took that long to enjoy and I only have time to play on the weekends I'd give the game a 6.5 out 10

3 RepliesHahah I literally got it yesterday, and being the rpg do all side quest first kinda guy that I am, I haven't left the bloody ship. Back and forth on some tram thing for ages.
-
I didn't love the single player from the start, mainly got it because I fell in love with ME3's multiplayer. Andromeda has a fun multiplayer too, but not as much character and map variety(yet) so I haven't felt motivated to play it since the second week it was out sadly.

4 RepliesWitcher 3

Yup. Rented it from Red box played to the snow planet and quit. Lost interest. In ME(1)-3 I could never lose interest.

Im on the app for it

Halo 5 for sure. I couldn't even get past the 2nd level. I've had it for little for a year now and I have less than 4 hours playtime. 3 of it being multiplayer, 1 hour campaign on legendary. Rise of The Tomb Raider. I hate games like these, amazing first playthrough but then there's no desire to do it all again because there's no change in story or gameplay.

Battlefield 1, I don't like games like COD and battlefield so I never bought one. My friends begged me to get BF1 and we were gonna form a squad and play for weeks and shit. I caved in and bought it and they all stopped playing, I felt like killing them. A few months later we would play it and it was a blast but I could have waited and got the game at a much cheaper price. I've learnt my lesson though

It definitely isn't as good as the trilogy, but it's not that bad.

2 RepliesThis is me with most open world rpgs. They generally just aren't my type of games. I got into MEA and Witcher 3 in the beginning, but my interest just dropped off after awhile. I actually pushed myself to finish the Witcher 3 and got most of the way through it. Ill go back and finish it eventually.

I had the same experience with ME Andromeda and Fallout 4. Having played their previous titles I figured I would get the digital version of both games. After 17 hours of Fallout 4 & the first planet of ME Andromeda they're both in the ready to install section.

1 ReplyIt starts tediously slow, but picks up after your first outpost. Unlike in the original trilogy, you're not a soldier so combat isn't a narrative priority (conflict, yes; combat, no). Mass effects 1~3 all started mid combat and hit the ground running (Specter assessment, escaping the Normandy/Lazarus facility, defending Earth). Andromeda, by comparison, starts off as a blank slate, so it takes time to build momentum. I'd say give it until at least your second outpost before you write it off.

3 RepliesI enjoyed the other games but had this same exact reaction to mea I guess my tastes just changed but ya I can't stand them now

6 RepliesThe first planet is literally the worst planet. Picks up right after.
