Check YOUR Internet... 9/10 of the time, it's your ping... Bungie isn't at fault, you dumdbasses with no clue about the internet are. "We want dedicated servers"... First, learn how they work, second learn how easy they are to hack... BF1, players kicked everyday... Overwatch, players kicked everyday, Division, players kicked everyday... Dedis don't do shit... Guess what? Bye bye

I just noticed you said you had a degree in networking further down in a reply. Very impressive, your post doesn't seem to be the logical discussion that a network engineer/designer would set out though. Before that I see you said that 9/10 times it's your ping that causes the problems. The problem with a p2p network with world wide matchmaking and rotating the host is one that I'm sure you can see. There is very little that you can control in a link to a host that is say 3 thousand miles away. You may think you have a great connection when you do a test to a server 100 miles away but in this game that ping is only achievable if you are matched to other gamers within that distance. That doesn't happen very often. Dedicated servers are not a fix to all latency problems. What they can do when linked correctly is mitigate the poorer connections that are around the world in terms of speed and ping. Meaning the individual gamer connection only has to be made to one server and that will handle the information and this reduces the load on an individual. Therefor one poor connection won't ruin a match. Any game that is sold all over the world must have a network that can handle solid game play where ever it is sold, destiny at the minute does not.
