55 RepliesLittle known factoid here. Many people go after the Rifled or Reinforced Barrel perk because it provides the most increase to Range stat, which is tied to accuracy. The more range the more accurate, which means less ghost bullets (which is still a cancer and they only made Cannons worse with this patch, but whatever). But, what most people don't know is that Hammer Forged (perk reads "increases range and accuracy) actually does just what it says. It increases [i]accuracy[/i] much more than Rifled or Reinforced do, but doesn't give as much range increase, which means more damage fall off, but less ghost bullets. So, if you want a Cannon to ghost less, go for Hammer Forged. If you want less damage fall off, go for Rifled/Reinforced. Honestly though, the [i]best[/i] Cannon would be a Ill Will (hear me out) with Hammer Forged, LitC, and Outlaw. Cannons can only reach a maximum range stat before no more bonus is given, and if you have Hammer Forged, it reaches that maximum without having to trade stability or reload (like with Rifled/Reinforced) and it gets the greater increase to accuracy. And since it is in the slowest RoF archetype, you don't have to pace your shots like you would have to with your Luna. On the other hand, even if you were to get an Ill Will like that, it would be pointless since it doesn't transfer to D2. #TitanMasterRace

1 ReplyI'd rather have rangefinder or the one that gives accurate in air shots. I've got luck and it really only helps a body shot count as a crit. As far as I've noticed doesn't really help time to kill even when the perk activates. Rng activates a perk that only helps if you land your shot. It seems to be better overall for perks that help you land more shots.

That's a really good roll. In my opinion, the only thing that could make that roll better is rangefinder>outlaw.

That is a BEAST ROLL! Congrats man. Check out the Pali I'm using on my hunter. I'd use your Luna over it.

2 RepliesThat's a nice eyasluna. The ib hc however is the new 2 tap beast. If you're fortunate enough to get it to drop with braced frame/feather mag and luck in the chamber. It gives you a very fast reload with reload gauntlets and you only have 4 bullets in the magazine so constantly 2 tap!
