Thank you. You actually just made my point for me. *IF* as you say it's about not huddling around waiting for a super prior to taking on a boss, then... WHY NERF IT? But here's the thing, you're going to turn around and say "well, it's about balance in PvP." Great. Why INTRODUCE it then? The point I'm making is that these dolts are constantly -blam!-ing around with the game, and have no fundamental understanding of how it's played in the first place. Example? ToO is nothing but god damn No Land Beyond now. Why? Because they nerfed snipers (and almost every special) into non-existence. Perhaps, instead of these guys sitting in their own echo chamber congratulating each other at having changed the previous employee's changes, they should actually either a) listen to the players AS A COMMUNITY (not just sweaty try-hards) or b) ... use the "User Research" people that signed up on this site. (If you're not familiar with it, look under your name in the top right hand menu, and go to "User Research".) But ... they do neither. and produce total shit modifications to a hell of a visionary game.

Correct me if I am wrong here but I thought they were considering changing/nerfing skorri because in trials one warlock could self revive and revive his teammates and get their super up while their opponents were all dead. Surely this was not the intention? Now if you think bungie doesn't need to fix this than you wouldn't support any changes to skorri. If you think something needs to be done to fix this than there are a lot of things bungie could have done. These changes would impact both pvp and pve (why they should is also the subject of much angst in the community) the proposed fix does stop the glitch in trials but doesn't impact on pve too much, yes some impact but not that much. Will it make pve activities harder or boring probably not. On the basis that whatever happens in pvp affect be as well, do you think bungie should fix the glitch? And if so what would you propose? I'm not saying what bungie are thinking is the best option but it's not the worse. If your post was only about how changes to pvp affect pve and this shouldn't happen then we are talking cross purposes

If this is accurate (can someone verify?) then it should be fixed. But not by nerfing Skorri. If the self-res occurs, there should be a countdown to elimination. Skorri still takes forever and a damn day to fill a super... The situation outlined above - assuming a 3:40 cooldown on a super (Tier 5) and two active Skorri's should still take - what? ... > two minutes to recharge. So set the cycle to thirty seconds... My point was *partially* about changes being crosswired in the game. My point was *mostly* about Bungie's seeming inability to understand the game they themselves made. Consider: the stories that we hear about people who use it to "come out of their shells"; the fellow who got Fate of All Fools, using it to recover from brain trauma; the thousands of people who use it to socialize when they otherwise wouldn't... And then consider all that changing for no real, discernible reason, other than some frikkin' idiot streamer bawling that someone got a lucky shot, or that she thinks it should be easier to defeat her opponents. Bungie seriously made a champagne drink, and beer modifications... It's like getting a five star meal with McDonald's french fries.

Nice analogies...although don't be dissing my maccas fries, they go with everything I take all my first dates to maccas and if they don't like it they are not worth wasting time with, if they love kfc I'm marrying them on the spot.Agree that the way bungie patches things could be better, they take months to introduce a patch and this is the best they come up with (I mean the recent patch with blink and special)???
