THE ONLY HOPE FOR DESTINY 2
-Boycott that trash while you still can-
At least until BUNGIE gets rid of the fun hating CEO, the entire incompetent development staff, and even the marketing team who lies with EVERY DLC.
Im not saying just because this recent patch failure, but because this kind of crap has been going on since the first DLC.
These guys SUCK at their jobs,
-They lie about what content is coming with your next DLC purchase then fall back to the EULA excuse when they advertise content and take it away after or just before purchase (Reforging, Exotics) ,
-They have absolutely NO IDEA how to separate PvP changes from PvE (That's a Red Flag)
-They cannot even come close to a half balanced PvP even after 2 years of using us as test dummies (thanks)
-They keep releasing patches WITHOUT testing them, or not testing them properly.
-They cant even create new content and just keep reskinning everything. obviously. Taken are Hive and Cabal with pretty much just a shadow shader slapped on, SIVA are fallen with a SIVA shader on...Basically.
These guys are just all out incompetent.
This is exactly what you can expect in Destiny 2 unless something extreme is done. They need to replace Mr "throw money at your screen" and replace the whole staff if you guys ever want a solid Destiny 2 experience...that's an obvious fact, backed by 2 years of constant BS from Bungie.
Advertising Dedicated Servers is going to be their main selling point but that's not even going to matter if these are the same people, who slowly mutilated this game, are the ones working on the next one.
Get new staff Bungie, your teams are all out of excuses and have been exposed as totally incompetent and incapable of firmly holding the weight of this franchise.

Dedicated servers will make or break D2. 90% of the issues is PvP are due to netcode, or lack there of. As far as PvE goes... Yea they need to beef it up a lot. Blizzard can save them. Or, they can stop being asshats and actually put all the content out at once..

3 RepliesI love this game it's on my top 3 list. And that's why I'm extremely critical of this game and I hate that they haven't already done what they can do to make it so much better. All I can do for now is hope that they didn't make the same mistakes for destiny 2. I'm not asking for a perfect game in destiny 2 I just don't want the same mistakes.

2 RepliesEdited by Snake: 2/17/2017 8:52:31 PMeverything you have said is true, thinking back to year 1 / vanilla / day one times, this game was originally sold from the PvE aspect saying that it would be focused on the PvE game and eventually have a PvP mode added to it for the more PvP focused people to play, they also said that we could "play the way we want" and then stop people doing just that. everything changed after PvP was released and they have refused to listen to what the PvE community wanted, draining the fun out of the game but keeping the game addicting enough with all the "rng" for players to keep coming back. destiny plays at around 30fps which is good enough for the PvE aspect of the game but not for the PvP side of the game, which for any competitive gaming community would not even be close enough for PvP gaming (the majority of the big multiplayer game play at around 60fps alowing for pinpoint gaming in the PvP game modes), this is why destiny does not look as good in gameplay compared to other games that have been released in the last few years. this game has become an addiction for most destiny players, addiction is described as "the condition of being abnormally dependent on some habit"like with drugs you get a high while taking them but don't feel right without them, so with destiny you become psychologically addicted to the game because you have to keep coming back again and again for your "Fix" of this game each week and eventually get the item you have been wanting all that time wether it be armor or weapon or item for upgrading gear (in gaming the "drug" is the game itself, and the "high" being the rewards you get).

Example: There are players in Destiny, with the perfect Bungie connection. For them, Destiny is the same like CoD for me: They kill you with 2-3 bullets from Mida, 2-3 bursts with Grasp, 2 Eyasluna/ Palindrome bullets. But when the most other players shoot with the same weapons, they need many more bullets for a kill. OR: I get killed by Matador/ Party Crasher from 10 meters distance. But when i shoot with the same shotgun, the most enemies even live from 2 meters distance. Latency: On my screen i don't even loose my shield first, when a primary weapon is shooting at me. I die instantly, without a chance to search cover. Or i die before i can even pull the trigger, while i know that the enemy will come around the corner........... 90% of all players quit Destiny, because of those problems. This is the reason that Bungie will promote Dedicated Servers in Destiny 2. And in Destiny 1 they are doing their best they can.

12 RepliesLets be honest here. We are all buying Destiny 2. I will be buying the game USED 1 week after release from Gamestop for the exact same price as new. Why you ask... That way Bungie doesn't see a single dime of it. It's my own personal way of "showing my support" you could say. Support for... Being lied to about the vanilla game and getting a shell of what was promised. Story? F**K reading your website grimwhatevers. (still haven't read a single one) Put it in the game. Getting half the DLC at twice the price. Skill based matchmaking WORLDWIDE MLG lobbies. (My personal trigger) I'm getting angry just remembering fighting 3v3's with 6 different countries. Nerf NERF nerf Nerf NERF Nerrrrffffff RNG felt heavily favorable towards bad/casual players and not so random. Balance? Nah... Break shit. Reskins and BASSACKWARDS maps (backwards maps for $ felt like a slap in the face) instead of actual new items/locations. Making old content laughably irrelevant and/or removed. Forcing DLC purchases to play standard game modes. Pimping emotes Events are to sell microtransactions instead of add value. Shady microtransactions. I feel pay to win approaching personally. More but I'm tired of typing a rant essay. That's how I feel and why I'll be buying a USED copy. I bought every half-assed DLC. Bungie got enough of my money from those to cover Destiny 2 in my opinion. We'll see if they earn a purchase on Destiny 3. Time will tell.

I'm not pre-ordering Destiny 2 because that's the only power I have. I will buy used or wait for it to be gifted. I have plenty of money to buy your game but this is my slap back in your face Bungie for shitting on my favorite game! Not cool Bungie. You mess with things that don't even need to be messed with. Why do you do that? A waste of resources! Focus on making quality content not buffing and nerfing for 3 years straight! Yeah I'm salty and proud of it. 🤗

This. Thank you. As someone who tells literally anyone who will listen that I love Destiny, this game is bad. Bad. What is the point of TWaB? Serious question. So you can tell us about patch one -blam!-ing million that makes hardly any difference in the game. I think whoever writes TWaB gets off on their own ability to manipulate words because that shit is pointless. I am actually baffled that people still play this game. I know, I know. People have been saying that since Alpha. But seriously. What do you do in this game anymore? You play a raid you've already beaten 450 times for gear that's in repeat stages now? Ooooo sounds like a good way to use those reflexes. Seriously. Stop playing this game. Stop giving Bungie a reason to breathe. Please for the love of God. Put some -blam!-ing fear in these guys. Make them think we aren't buying their shitty D2(if it's not for PC master race I don't -blam!- with you). And stop defending this garbage. And -blam!- you Deej.

Edited by darntsleet100: 2/17/2017 9:08:58 PMMostly agree which this, but i feel you missed out somehting, bungies lack of communication before content drops, this is the one thing i get annoyed at the most, bungie hardly even tell us when streams or anything are going to be, just look at how little destiny 2 info we have, heck all they have to say is "we are doing a stream on X date at X time" and that would be enough but instead they almost relgh on these 'leaks' to give fans some idea what to look out for, meanwhile anyone outside of rumor mill hype land is left with a baron wasteland of little repetitive grind to hype them up for the next thing.
