You're allowed to unlock it. You just have to be good enough to do so. You have access to the same stuff as everyone else. I hardly play trials, but I don't feel cheated because I'm not good enough to get to the lighthouse.
Also, just because someone is good in Trials doesn't mean that they are a no-lifer. Do you always bash people because of your shortcomings, and/or misfortunes?

You do realize that double carries put people at a disadvantage, right? If you can't beat a double carry, then you don't deserve to go to the lighthouse
