Just a quick question, do you fashion souls this game or is stats everything? I personally like to focus on making my characters look good as a priority while maintaining decent stats. It's just a game and I want to look good.
If you've got screenshots of a good looking guardians post them below. I'm constantly inspecting people with cool armor combinations.
I'm personally proud of how my warlock looks, I'll post a screenshot later.
Edit: wow I went to sleep last night with this post buried and woke up with almost 50 replies! I love hearing all your opinions and I've been checking out your characters all morning. To bad the app can't really show off the true glory of your guardians.
Edit 2: over 100 responses! It's really interesting seeing how how the community leans
Edit 3: ha ha I was excited to see the 50 replies this morning, and now it's approaching 300! Making bad ass looking guardians has always been a fun part of the game, and I totally relate to those of you who grinded certain activities to get that one piece of dope armor.

For me it was Stats before looks but by this point in the game I have both. Just wish I had enough vault space for all my armor sets. I like to match my armor with the element I'm using along with shaders and chroma. Was going for a chroma set on my titan and ended up getting tier 12 stats without meaning to. House of judgement chest with spektor arms, legs, and helm using purple chroma and super black shader looks great Imo.

2 RepliesI try as hard as I can to get armour with discipline and strength, but if I get good looking armour with bad rolls.... I use the good looking armour.

Edited by Goldship: 1/17/2017 5:15:07 PMI go for both good stats and good looks

1 ReplyStats don't matter if you look like a hobo
-
3 RepliesI think my hunter looks pretty damn sexy

Only (about) 25% are looking at stats? Damn! I really wasn't expecting THAT much of a separation. I ran the first year wearing garbage looking gear, but kept decent stats. 2nd year was when I started to concentrate more on looks. Now I've gotten to the point that I can be pretty picky about what gear I'm wearing. I've been slowly gathering different pieces for each subclass and how I Like to run that particular sub. My favorite rig is Bog Wild with no shader. I don't remember which Cloak I use with that rig (I think it's On the Marsh). Haven't run my Hunter in quite a while though. I can generally run a Tier 11 with most outfits and a Tier 12 on a few. Throw on Memory of Felwinter and I have a set for my Warlock that busts off a Tier 14 (For all the good the Super is with that Artifact. ;) ). Buddy of mine freaked out when I sent him a pic of it. He didn't realize what the Felwinter perk was, but it still looks cool to see the Tier that high.

Perks then looks then stats.
-
Style, all this effort for tier 12 and crap is lame.
-
I prefer stats but i like the look of the days of iron gear with ornaments
-
I'm a Hunter main. You already know the answer. 😎

1 ReplyFashion is the only priority for me. I'm waiting for Crota to come back so I can have my favorite helmet and complete my fashion build of: Unyielding Casque Spliced Nanomania Gauntlets Old Trials Chestpiece Old Trials Boots/Bones of Eao

4 RepliesI can't believe anyone plays this game based on the look of gear...I mean I want my characters to look good, but I like my super and grenade better...plus, I barely ever see my girls when playing
-
My Titan looks like a god
-
If I'm running strikes, regular crucible, and thing like that then I go for matching armor sets and cool looks but will still try and get the most out of my set up. When it's iron banner or trials time, I pick armor based purely on stats.

Edited by Reclaimer: 1/17/2017 4:36:55 PMhttps://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/220527278?sort=0&page=0 Did this already. People seem overwhelmingly in favor of style. Which suspires me. People run around looking more like creatures than guardians.

Need I scream "fashion souls?" I'll do it...
-
1) equip best rolled gear for build 2) find a shader that looks good with it
-
I try to have my cake and eat it too.
-
1 ReplyI try to do both but style seems to edge out always, I recently deleted some greaves with great stats and perks off my titan simply because they wouldn't take any shader... damn snowglare armor
-
I never look at my stats tbh. Pretty certain I have a lot of Pulse rifle perks on my armour even though I use scouts/handguns.
-
Fashion or looks is meaningless to me. If something doesn't help my attack or defense, I don't care about it. I don't care about ships, shaders, emblems, chroma, ornaments or anything else along those lines.
