Iron banner rift is shit
Nobody knows how to play rift. Everyone treats it like clash and ignores the rift. I have played about 10 games in a row and they have all been blowouts. It's not fun. Thanks for ruining iron banner.

I have only played two games but at the start of the second game I got a reaper medal and ignited the rift. I killed their entire team lol

Edited by t0x1cb14ckm01d: 12/7/2016 7:46:05 PMIt was fine last night when I played. Just grab two or more friends. I ended up winning 3 out of 5 games. You don't need a full fireteam of 6. 3 to 4 people in your fireteam works fine.

We beat a team last night and teams got split to find a better match. We then proceed to be dropped in a game in progress 3 times all ending in a mercy.

2 RepliesThe worst part about rift is that it's a team mode that allows a single person to make a massive difference in score. Normally this wouldn't be a huge problem, but if that one person is a redbar then the game turns into a cesspool of expletives and frustration.

How to prosper in iron banner rift...... Step 1. Get a oscillating fan Step 2. Load up a game of iron banner Step 3. Place controller next to fan so it hits your joystick slightly Step 4. Go do something else Step 5. Go to postmaster and collect rewards Step 6. Repeat.

5 RepliesEvery IB someone cries about getting pub-stomped because they refuse to find a team to play with. I played yesterday evening and into the night and had a blast! We only lost a handful of games but who cares!! It's a video game. All you have to do is put forth a little effort to find a team. It usually only takes about 5-10 min max! But no you would rather get stomped in the ground over and over until you flip out. THIS is a [b]YOU[/b] Problem! Every IB....

Hate rift. I'll take shotgun city with supremacy any day over rift. If it's not on iron banner i don't play it. Id like to see some number's of current participant's, when looking at a game modes for crucible. Give a idea of what the community plays.

Edited by ClanKeith: 12/7/2016 6:43:54 PMI cannot explain how much I hate IB Rift... any IB mode that is objective based is just not a good idea because so many people don't understand how to play the objective. And yes, you can queue in w/ a full fireteam, but then you'll never have any real competition. Iron Banner should really give an alternate version of each game type to choose from a that way everybody could play what they wanted to.

Not one -blam!-ing pair of boots though. Stuck at 399. I can't complain though, my luck has been better than others I'm sure. Pretty much No lagging whatsoever for me either

3 RepliesI had few problems yesterday as a solo. I only ran into one fireteam of more than 3. Sure there were blow outs but they were few and most of them were with teams of solos on both sides. Two characters to rank 4 so far and having a good time.

I noticed I was the only one running to the spark so I ran to look for my team. Yeah they're all sitting on the heavy ammo crate. Just been getting stomped.

Biggest issue I noticed last night was that No one, absolutely no one was going and picking up the spark on my team. I changed my build around and tried to compensate and everyone started to get together as a team finally. Granted by this point in the match/matches it was normally too late and the other team had a 4000 point lead on us. Grab the spark folks. Even if you cant get it in. It at least denies the other team from getting a dunk. Don't be an idiot and run into a crossfire to do so though. You gotta clear out that immediate area, then someone grab. Then everyone stick to them like glue. If you are a runner, watch for the paths your team is making for you. On 2 separate occasions last night I popped super and cleared a path to the enemy rift, only to have the runner go the other way and get cornerDor-64'd to the face.

This game is doing some weird shit. I was in blade dance and a guy killed me by shotgun then I supposedly killed him afterwards. I wasn't close enough to hit him

Eh, I'm not a huge fan of the Rift game mode in general, but what can you do? It is what it is. Maybe for a future Iron Banner they could rotate the game modes every match. It's not like the bounties are game mode specific.

6 RepliesRift fvcking sucks. The bounties are basically made for any mode, so just getting kills gets them done. Lazy AF. Rank 3.5 IB after all bounties are complete which sucks. Blow out after blow out. No one wants to go for the Rift. No one wants to ruin their K/D. Jesus Bungie. WTF?

Rift is Shit - next IB game mode should be IB Scat. Then then for crimson days 2v2 mode 2 hunters 1 cup.

1 ReplyDoesn't help people don't die when they've been killed or people who continue shooting you when you were behind cover after the first shot or the game being so laggy you can't even dunk the spark. Makes me regret buying in to this franchise.
