Please for the love of all that is holy bungie, we need a new weapon buff patch.

The meta is so stale right now. If you don't use clever dragon and matador 64 you're pretty much dead meat. These changes need to happen. -Auto rifles Mid rof to do 22 to the head, low rof to do 30. Basically just adding 2 damage per shot will make these guns have viable ttk's Increase mag size by 5 for all auto rifles. Increase base stability of high rof auto rifles by 10 -pulse rifles Increase damage of high impact low rof pulse rifles ( parthian shot .etc) by 2. A simple change that would make these weapons viable. -hand cannons. REMOVE BLOOM. This rng mechanic is extremely detrimental to gameplay and makes all but max range handcannons utterly and completely useless. Increase high impact hand cannon impact to max but half the rate of fire. This would make them have around a .8 second ttk with two headshots, each doing 101 damage, Bringing their ttk inline with the other archetypes. Bodyshot ttk would be unaffected Increase base stability of all high rof hand cannons by 10. They need this to combat their rate of fire. I have done my research and these are the changes that literally everybody wants. Edit: Wow! Thankyou for all the likes and replies!   • Love the idea for the high impact auto and pulses. They need it. Also hand cannons bloom os bad but i barely notice it right now with my ill will.

[/quote] See this attitude is utter horseshit, other weapons are perfectly viable but almost everyone who plays this game act like sheep all the time, following what everyone else uses. That's what needs to change, they can change the meta but unfortunately people will gravitate to the next meta because they are SHEEP and they can't think for themselves.

          Just to add a few: [u]Scouts[/u]: They should all have HCR. That's why Mida was so good during TTK, because it could counter snipers. It was good because it was a scout rifle that acted as a scout rifle. [u]Snipers[/u]: Reduce the flinch from body shots and let flinch from head shots get worse as you take damage, buff ADS speed and the time it takes to pull it out ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Also, fix all sniper so that they all have the same aim assist. Why would I even think about using the gunsmith sniper when a long bow is way better. [u]Shotguns[/u]:Make high ROF shotties have reduced pellet spread, faster reload speed, more stability, and more ammo in reserve. This type of archetype needs a better purpose than mowing down shields in PvE with full auto. [u]Fusion rifles[/u]: Reduce the spread while air born and faster pellet travel (to trade with shotguns). Also, a default stability buff to fusions. This is so that fusion rifles can be good without having to use braced frame. I know some fusion rifles don't have this problem (77 Wizard and plan c) but it's mainly the year 2 and 3 weapons. Look at Omalon's fusions. Sure the vacancy is godly but without braced frame, you might as well use it. Swords: That (Defends less to similar element type) thing needs to go. It doesn't make sense that you have to pay attention to what type of element a person uses when using a sword. BTW bump

          • I think bloom should stay, but reduce it. Handcannons have never been in a better spot (balance wise) and right now the only thing keeping them from being the dominate primary in crucible is BLOOM. So therefore it should stay. I also think that 101 damage with high impact HC would be a bit too much. That's literally making litc useless for that archetype, and everyone would be using it. I do think primaries need buffed, but not by much. I think the optimal ttk should be less then a second for primaries, of all archetypes.

            • everything here sounds good except the two shot kill, high impact hand cannons, it's risk reward, i think it's in a good spot, maybe a tad more range. it's hard to get up close to and combat with fast ttk weapons and still be successful.

              • When I saw the title of your post, tbh, my initial response was to consider a downvote- I'm just sick of the constant tweaking. But after reading it- you [i]have[/i] done your research, and I don't disagree with any of your proposals. The handcannon missing shots is unbelievable. A few days ago I was on Dreadnaught patrol, had pulled out my old Uffern HC4, and it was just shocking how many ghost rounds there were. I later checked and found that for some reason I had extended mag selected instead of reinforced barrel. I mean, this was one of my higher-rated handcannons for PvE dps (Outlaw)- had become my go-to for crit kills in CoE a while back. One perk deselected and it was useless (had considered dismantling it on the spot).

              • While I agree with everything needing to be done I haven't really had an issue with the whole clever dragon thing, I don't see it nearly as much as the matador or the MIDA.

                • For auto rifles, get arminius d. Gunsmith sells it and has 70 mag plus is a bullet hose and usually, depending on which out of the three you can chose, decently good stability

                • One Note: Parthian Shot can two burst if all shots are criticals. This happens atleast once a match with mine. I'm not sure if this is typical for the low rof achetype, but bumping the damage would make my Parthian Shot easy mode.

                    In regards to the Clever Dragon......Uh, no. Other weapons work perfectly fine. Hawksaw, Hopscotch Pilgrim, Monte Carlo, Nerwins Mercy, Palindrome, Last Word, Mida-Multi Tool, etc. Plenty of weapons to choose from. Heck, I've been tearing it up lately with my Pre-ROI Finnala's Peril.

                    • lol having a HC with .8 ttk with one shot breaking armor will take us back to the messenger era. for a weapon to have max flinch in a bullet is broken as eris morns ship. increase low rof pulses from 34 to 36 yup two burst messenger is back and u dont even need all headshots autorifles will almost revert to suros or bust aince suros will bumb up to 33 or 34 killin in 6 bullets. yup so easy to play armchair developer.
