its too late to fix it. They -blam!-ed the game over unless D2 has fully dedicated servers. Reason being is because if they switch to CBMM it wont matter cause lots of people have made friends during the SBMM phase and some dont have good connection. So if you are, as an example, matching against me (matching connections) but i have a friend with ass connection or from across the world.. well.. the lag is there and it aint leaving. Only Dedicated servers would save us now.

They actually have been banning cheaters. You just haven't looked in the right spot to notice.

Honestly this is the way I feel about the entire Destiny PVP experience. I like this game, even though I think it's just because I'm addicted to loot, so I continue to play it. Last night, I wanted to finish Shaxx bounty on 1 character and do the entire Shaxx bounty on another. I fly in. First match, dude glitching around everywhere. Hey it's Destiny, used to it. Second match, somehow or another after being a full green bar in the previous match, everyone in the lobby was yellow. 3rd match 3 red bars 1 glitcher. On and on and on with every match after that having at least 2 red bars and 1 person glitching. Brings me to the last match. I'm put up against a team of 6 with some rando's. 3 of their team in red bar, all 3 of this six man team in red, taking late damage, I will shoot them clearly win battles, then I'll die, then they drop dead, then a throwning knife hits me while I'm dead and it says I was killed by a throwing knife. When I shoot them I hear this terrible noise like a cd that is skipping badly, they take no damage, they kill me then somehow they die and I get a kill credit a few seconds later, no postmortem medal so I know i killed them first but somehow they are still alive on my screen. I report everyone on that fireteam, and leave. I only need 2 primary kills to finish Shaxx bounty so I go back in orbit and start matchmaking and it zooms me into a match with same assholes I just reported. If you want to continue playing this game, we are all going to have to come to the conclusion that Bungie will never do anything about the lag in crucible. Accept the fact that likely every match is going to have at least 1 person who is either glitching or not taking damage or the hit detection isn't working. Once you have accepted this, it doesn't bother you as much. It sucks and I'm just waiting for some other company to create a game like this, and when that happens, bye Destiny. It was fun but when every other multiplayer game I have played has none of this garbage, you know it's a Bungie thing.

Man, I need to read the update more closely apparently. I didn't see any of those quotes.

As an American in the Northern region, our connections aren't pristine either, though I'm guessing it has to do with ISP. But apparently even Comcast is a shitty -blam!-ing supplemenet for Bungie lag. I've been getting kicked from games on Weasel/Baboon errors for months, and within the last two Xbox Live Parties don't even hold stable long enough to finish a single Boss Fight in the Hard Mode! It's atrocious. So it's not just foreigners having a shit -blam!-ing time either. And it's not just playing with friends, I solo queue'd ALL of my Iron Banner and Clash matches last week (had an old Shaxx Clash Weekly Bounty,) and I still routinely got disconnected or noticed peoples' Guardians almost sliding around the map. Honestly, if something doesn't change soon, there won't be much of a reason to log in except to check if Xur is finally selling any of those Exotics I can't be arsed to RNG for. And I can just do that on the webpage.

They should do just RBMM...random matchmaking. A combo of the good factors from CBMM and SBMM. In other words, put random players in random teams. That way, there's a chance of variety, and that we wouldn't have to worry about Trials sweaties going against casual players such as you and I.
