New Matchmaking Settings Applied to More Playlists
Today we applied the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/44932/7_New-Matchmaking-Settings---07062016-]recent changes[/url] we made to Matchmaking settings in Control to all other playlists except Trials of Osiris - which uses different Matchmaking settings that are specific to that event. These settings will also be applied to the next Iron Banner. Play some games and leave your feedback below.

Hey cozmo. I just had quick question. It says that on your second character, you did the nightfall. Yet, the characters light level is 140. How did it let you do it in the first place?

Example: enemy took 3 arc blade stabs, disapears, reappears behind me and kills me. Never dies from the stabs. Edit: this reminds me of when they first turned on sbmm, lag is unreal. Not playing iron banner with these matchmaking setting on.

Worse than last month for me. Lag, understandable but not acceptable. Red-bar warriors aplenty, and usually on top of leaderboards. Matchmaking, being placed against fireteams of at least 4 members, if not full teams, across all game modes more times than usual. Handling on some weapons, specifically auto-rifles and scouts, feel oddly slow.

I think we can all agree this next IB is going to suck donkey balls just like all the previous IB's. Your matchmaking skills are laughable and do not work. Your RNG is broken, has been for ages, and still hasn't been fixed DESPITE the tons of negative feedback on this forum. All Crucible matches I play have sweaty tryhards and, not surprisingly, lots more red bar players. As if having the red bar players wasn't bad enough, they are the ones who are invincible and getting 3-3.5 K/Ds per match as a result. Clearly you're just testing out configurations to release in RoI. Been real nice participating in this 2 year long beta where you can't seem to get anything right.

Has it ever occurred to the tiny little brain of bungie no matter what settings you implement crucible will still be trash until you have worthy servers.

Also with more SBMM it seems there are more Red bars. due to Red bars dominating people in crucible they are in the higher skilled player base and this is the major problem with SBMM. If you implement dedicated severs it may help with the problem. Hopefully August 16 dedicated servers will be the new feature you discuss.

"The enemy has the spark, stop them." get spawn trapped for the remaining 2-3 minutes, match ends. Next match loading... "The enemy has the spark, stop them."... -blam!- this -blam!-!!!!! LOL

Ok, so I have been on somewhat of a hiatus as of late, but decide to log on and run my characters through some crucible to complete Shaax bounties. Each character needs a rift win. Here's meh theory in the form of a question: is everyone pretty much sick of rift and just going in for the bounty and when a team scores the opposing team just throws the match and hopes for the better match made team the next go-round? This definitely seemed to be the case. For the rest of my experience over the weekend, most encounters were fairly smooth. Definitely seemed to notice less lag, but did get STOMPED a few matches, which is fine by me as long as the lag is not there. However, I did get shot through a wall once, and even though it didn't really feel [i]laggy[/i] there were some [i]Stranger Things.[/i] For instance, many times I felt like my character wouldn't stop sprinting and aim when I told my controller to tell them too. Nope, would just keep on right into the line of fire. Felt like when other players push you, but there was no one in my vicinity. If I didn't know any better (and I'm not certain I do) I would say at times you can feel [i]the game[/i] take control and try to swing things a certain players/teams way. Like there really is an algorithm to attempt to keep the majority of players at the 1.0 win/loss ratio. No megusta.
