Currently ps3 user, should i go with xbox 1. Advice needed
Xbox 1 appears to be a much better purchase currently. Only downside is i will probably have to give up destiny because there is no way i will relevel my characters. Advice please

Edit: here is what makes the descision tough. Currently on microsofts site you can get a 1tb console with4 games amd an extra,controller for279 . Ps4 is 350 for only 500mb. Price wise thats quite a difference. You can get the new xbox s for 299 which is still a lot cheaper than the ps4. I would be inclined to stay on playstatin but my ps3 broke twice so wasnt real impressed. If i do switch to xbox i would not continue with destiny sadly because no way would i regrind again.

Xbox user here, and your choice should really depend on what you use the console for. I have an Xbox 1 and while it's not as powerful as a ps4, I feel it has a much broader range of family entertainment value for my family with it's features. If I was a hard core gamer still, I would absolutely go ps4. Play to your strengths, avoid the salt and good luck :)

If you like gears of war and halo then yes, if you like uncharted and the last of is or whatever the name is then no. I personally like xbox one and i like the ekie controller

2 RepliesStick to the one you're used to. They are practically equals unless you're an exclusives person. Only real reason I have an Xbox is that the controller isn't stuck in the early 90's and is worth a shit.

If it was me I'd go PS4 for two reasons, actually three, 1 - you can just transfer your characters and pick up where you left off, 2 - I prefer the PS pad I never really got on with Xbox pad 3 - the Xbox One S is due out relatively soon, even I'm tempted, 2tb hardrive and 4k and probably other things. Its your choice what do your friends play on could be another consideration as well as platform specific titles and content, either way you won't be disappointed I'm sure

I have both and I play Destiny on both. I like the Xbox controller a lot more so I mainly just play on the Xbox. If I had to chose just one I'd go with whichever controller fits your hands better.

I would stick with PS4. I have 2 PS3, 2 Xbox 360, and 2 XBox Ones (One with Kinect). (Family) Never had a problem with XBox 360 controller or headset. XBox One warrantied 1 controller and now one controller out of warranty failed. I had to warranty XBox1 headset 2 times. XBox Live about $32/year on sale. Check sales and trade ins. I got my second XBox1 (No Kinect) Master Chief game for under $200 with tax from Best Buy with old XBox 360 tradein. Many XBox 360 games playable on XBox1. Great deal on monthly free games for Live Members and sales. XBox1 Kinect pretty useless. Good for watching Netflix, TV, etc. for lazy people using voice commands.

Ps4 if you're in to games. Xbox if you're in to taking to your tv.

If you have a decent pc, get a ps4 since almost every Xbox game will also be on pc, including the heavy hitters like gears of war and forward so you can have access to them anyway. If you don't have a pc for games, consider the games you will have access on each and also where your friends are. Both systems have great controllers and they are now comparable sizes while they do mostly the same (Xbox has an edge on the multimedia aspect). I went from a 360 to a ps4 back in launch but later I got an Xbox for the games I loved. Also keep in mind that in the ps4 you will be able to keep your destiny progress without an issue whereas if you go to ms you wont

It really boils down to which exclusive games would you like to play more, and which system more of your friends are on. Both systems have their pros and cons. But from personal experience I do like my xbone more than my PS4 ( but that's because most of my friends are on Xbox and I like the Xbox controller way better but that's just IMO ) PlayStation is still an amazing system and is also going to be getting that VR head set in October. So really you will probably be happy with either system just depends on your personal preferences;-)

Why Xbox? You get exclusives, and you won't have to make a different account and restart if you get a PS4.

Depends on what genre of games you like, XboX for FPS and PS4 for RPG games. I chose XboX because I like FPS. You will be able to experience the greatest gaming franchise ever created, HALO!

Buy the consol with the games that you want, or the one with all your friends on. I would stick with the last one. Because playing with friends is much more fun
