Xbox 1 appears to be a much better purchase currently. Only downside is i will probably have to give up destiny because there is no way i will relevel my characters. Advice please
Thanks for everyones comments
Edit
Again thanks so much for everyones help and advice. Nice to see this community can really be helpful and nice . You guys have made a lot of good points. I am just very tempted b so e of the bumdles on microsofts site. Thanks again
Edit: here is what makes the descision tough. Currently on microsofts site you can get a 1tb console with4 games amd an extra, controller for279 . Ps4 is 350 for only 500mb. Price wise thats quite a difference. You can get the new xbox s for 299 which is still a lot cheaper than the ps4. I would be inclined to stay on playstatin but my ps3 broke twice so wasnt real impressed. If i do switch to xbox i would not continue with destiny sadly because no way would i regrind again.

Get the console more of your friends have, that will guaranteed be the better purchase
-
The grass is always greener stick to ps4 for exclusive stuff
-
Just get Xbox and then buy Destiny 2 when that comes out.

1 ReplyEdited by electroplasm: 6/17/2016 1:42:48 AMSony blew microsoft out of the water again at e3. Even totalbiscuit said so. U should wait until the ps4 neo is released and buy that. Don't buy an xbone or ps4 or you'll be caught at the tail end of this mini generation. One little dlc isn't worth it. You'll just be caught in the same awkward position next year when destiny 2 runs better on ps4.5 neo
-
I have both ps4 and xbox one. While I mostly play on my xbox one I would say get a ps4. Just a better console.
-
Just get a ps4 so you can have your destiny progress. You're going to see rise of Iron and wish you would have got one. Make the smart decision.
-
I've got both but been on ps4 since destiny release and I haven't had a problem not saying there isn't any i just haven't had one and ive got a few hours in it i can tell you that, with the xbox i hardly play it the interface feels slow and off (not sure if I'm just use to the ps4) but im not a big fan of it. I'd suggest wait and buy the new ps4 but that's just my 2 cent

Edited by yada: 6/17/2016 12:51:39 AMWhere do your friends play and where are they gonna play in the future? Where are the current and future games gonna be on that you want to play? These should be answered before any purchase. I wouldn't recommend giving up Destiny because you spent lots of money and time in that game. So I think you are better off sticking with PlayStation. I love my Xbox one, I'm looking forward to Scorpio cause that is going to be awesome. Both consoles are great both have their ups and downs. They both support external hard drives so space shouldn't be your biggest concern.
-
4 RepliesThe Xbox One S is a much better choice than a PS4; However, if you enjoy Destiny, I'd advise against changing to Xbox.
-
Ps4s are 299 at Costco now. Stick with what you're use to
-
Ps4. But if you want a x-box 1 you should wait for the newer version they are releasing.
-
1 ReplyCurrent xbox one user, and I have my shhit box up on ebay wanting to sell it for a ps4. I've had xbox, xbox 360, and xbox one if that makes my opinion any more valid. There just isn't any games for xbox one that are exclusive or good.
-
They are both the same. I would go with playstation if you're already on it.
-
Go where your favorite games would be. I've been with Xbox for nearly 8 years and have not had any issues. And yes I don't give a shit about ps exclusives to destiny. Exotics in this game are no longer special, nor more powerful then legendaries. I just pre ordered the new Xbox one s 2tb... It's gonna be sexy
-
Stay with playstation. I'm on Xbox one wishing I had all the exclusive games coming out on that console

Why would snyone buy one let alone someone already in PS3. There is no way you are real.
-
1 ReplyPlayStation has the better exclusives, you are already on a PlayStation, you will lose your Destiny.
-
8 RepliesNo. Why the f*ck is that even a question? What even makes the Xbone seem like a better purchase currently?
-
As a primary user of Xbox One, but owner of both consoles, I would say go with PS4, definitely. Especially if you have friends on PS3/4. I play my Xbox because that's where my friends are, but just the consoles/games head to head, Sony wins by a landslide.
-
From an Xbox player, no You have nearly two months into the game and will lose all that progress. Plus you will also have exclusives which is a nice benefit.
-
As someone who went from ps3 to xbone "cause my friends were on it" go ps4 I should have just made new friends. Seriously though stay in the Ps family. Way better exclusives and generally they are getting new content first all the time.
-
Don't cry about exclusives later on
-
Depends on what you want. If your interested wants apps for TV and something that games well, then Xbox is your choice. If you just want gaming then Xbox lol. PS4 is good but I personally like the Xbox controller and options it gives me for game sharing.
-
Why switch to Xbox when you'll lose all your progress you earned on Playstation? Unless you like the grind, then by all means make the switch.
-
Mass Effect is the only thing on Xbox(if that series even is exclusive now) that would make me want it. Personally I like the PS4 exclusives better.
