Would you watch a guy with overall kd of 4.1 with over 100k kills on twitch?
I have a overall kd of 4.1, titan the highest 4.3 and lots of people have asked if I stream or make youtube videos.
I was wondering if I start streaming in the summer is there anyone interested getting tips and hints how to wreck in pvp?
My trials kd is 4+ overall on all 3 characters and I love playing 3v3s, most of my games are in there especially in skirmish.
Doubles is also my favorite gametype, I got true skill in doubles 50 and 99 winning % with a kd of 6.7 and ka/d somewhere around 7.3
Usually I play with a shotty but I am a great sniper as well, I love screwing around with goofy weapons like dregs promise or lord of wolves, NLB and so on.

Edit2: I use a regular X1 controller with default settings and sensitivity of 10, and If i decided to start streaming I would definitely start doing lighthouse carries because It is one of the fastest ways to gain followers :)

Just like a lot of other forms of entertainment, you either have to be a professional at what you do, or have a likeable personality. If you have both, then you'll probably do well. For gaming, it falls under this as well. People usually watch great players go against other great players or watch because they personally enjoy watching that person because they're fun. Just watching someone who is good at a game I like isn't enough for me to watch them. Seeing them pubstomp other teams isn't fun for me to watch. But other streamers and youtubers will probably tell you to just do it. You won't know if you're successful unless you put the time and effort into it. If you have to ask others before you even think about attempting it is a sign you aren't willing to just do it because it's something you want to do. Seems like you just want the attention and money that comes from it. You have to start from the bottom. Also, from what I can see, this is a bad time to start streaming Destiny. With this content drought, I doubt there are as many people looking for people to watch. Views and watchers have dropped even for the most popular streamers/youtubers so not only are you late to the party, everyone's gone home for the night and the next party hasn't even been planned yet.

16 RepliesK/D isn't THE indicator of skill, Kraftyy has a 2.7 K/D but is regarded as the best player in the world. 4.1 is high, but no need to say that when you ask if people will watch you. Personality is far more important than skill if you plan to stream.

Whether people watch you in twitch is less about your stats and more about your personality.

I don't watch streamers personally, but it's more about your personality and if you bring up good conversations and/or make people laugh that will get you viewers. Skill is definitely a positive, but the other stuff is now important.

I watch people that are entertaining, I don't care how good they are. I'm not watching to get better I'm watching to be entertained. I watch very few streams to get pointers and it is very rare for me to do so.

Stats aren't what make streamers good to watch. Only people that care about stats are the ones that want to get carried to the light house
