Hey all you sidearm enthusiasts!
So I have been wanting to get in to using sidearms but I have no idea on what are good perks and I could use some tips on how to use them. For example should I ADS while using one? Here are my sidearms I currently have, which do you think is best?
Jabberhakke
Rangefinder
Feeding frenzy
Snapshot
Havoc pigeon
Relentless tracker
One man army
Reinforced barrel
Conviction
Zen moment
Outlaw
QuickDraw
Iron wreath
Last resort
Feeding frenzy
Appended mag
Any help would be appreciated guardians!

Jabberhakke or Conviction II.

Jabbehakke. The range increase from rangefinder is really good on sidearms. Also feeding frenzy is good

I've got danger close (meh) and battle runner (which I actually really like) on my Ironwreath. The thing is pretty great even with crappy perks. I have vendor conviction the is just kinda meh, I don't like the recoil pattern on it that much. Havoc pigeon is on par with the ironwreath but appended mag is one of the more useful perks I would guess (mag goes from 12 to 15). The Jabberhakke was alright, but it just felt like the Conviction to me so I didn't like it all that much. Overall Ironwreath or Havoc are the way to go.

If you're playing where light level doesn't matter, get the Vestian destiny. It's a beast. If light level does matter, quickdraw and rangefinder are invaluable to me. The best advice I can give is to try each one out and find which one works best for you. I'm not great in pvp, but I seem to be above average when it comes to sidearms. I only use sidearms in pvp and I'm sitting at around 2600 kills with them.

I won't use a side arm unless it has high caliber rounds. I really like the vendor conviction

Out of those the jabberhakke, those perks will help you out the most.

You can really notice Zen Moment on sidearms. I'd suggest one with that.

Your Jabberhakke sounds like a pretty good roll. I have a Havoc and IB sidearm with rangefinder and high caliber rounds that are both great.

1 ReplyThe one New Monarchy sell , Conviction . Its very good , battle runner for 5 seconds after a kill has gotten me out of countless fights I'd lose due to low health . Being honest I've loads of sidearms with a variety of perks , I find the conviction my favoured one

I like using the pigeon the best. Mine has zen moment (helps it become a headshot machine) and quickdraw (which makes it great to finish off enemies). I find I'm able to chain headshots with my pigeon better than my other sidearms. I won about 75% of 1v1 battles against last word. Won quite a few battles against charging shotgunners as well. Zen moment or rangefinder are perks I look for.

3 RepliesJust which ever works for you. I have a 305 jabberhakke that I got from the last nightfall that I'm loving. The only good perk on it is rangefinder. It's a great secondary weapon if you run scouts.
