Watching the beta streams and quickly realizing....
People will be back to Destiny soon enough. Don't get me wrong, it looks cool.
But it does NOT replace the things people love about destiny.
Of course there will be the classic Destiny bashers that disagree but I don't see it so far....

For one, as much as I hate to admit it, and I swear more than anyone at the game, it's like a part of me now. To narrow it down, I'm an Xbox one gamer, I play anything and everything, always have since my Atari 2600, so there is no point in anyone saying destiny is dead, the day it done is when servers are gone, end of.

The dark zone in my opinion is what makes the division special to me. My team and I got pounded by a group once getting our stuff out, then playing solo I had a friendly team save my butt so I could get my stuff out, then my team and I got into a massive war zone with the group we had previously been killed by, ending in a who ran out of ammo first streetfight in which there really were no winners. It was tense, painful, fun, and reminded me why I have been asking for an optional pvp patrol mode for a while now.

Yep. Played the beta and wasn't feeling it. Defiantly going to try it out some more but I'll still play Destiny more than the division

14 RepliesI agree. Canceled my Division pre-order. May give it another shot down the road, but as of right now, Destiny is still my game. I am however, looking forward to these forum trolls and kiddies going elsewhere for a few months. It'll be peaceful, and they sure as hell won't be missed.

I left Destiny without having to go play Division to do so. Trust me, go play another game for about a month and then attempt to come back and play this...you'll wonder why you ever bothered playing in the first place.

3 RepliesDoes(Will) it have raids? I'd actually kind of like a game like destiny -raids. I'm not too social of a person, and I'm usually pretty self conscious about raiding with my kids in the back ground.

Depends on Bungie really. If it continues on with silly doubles events and no real substantial updates , see ya later. Won't see me in Destiny a whole lot.

I've bought a lot of games since destiny released (been here since beta). I still come back, I just have a good chuckle with friends on destiny it's going to be hard to replace that.

4 RepliesDestiny isn't hanging on to many people with the amount of new content being delivered (which is none for the foreseeable future). Once the wave of new players from Christmas run through the content a few times, I would be surprised if they stuck around with the current state of the game

It's not really much to brag about saying a vastly reduced dying community might come back. Most moved on to one of this past Fall's releases already. You can't kill what's already dead.

5 RepliesYeh the gunplay is horrible and if u die u respawn miles away. Evem shows wer u died but with no option to respawn ther.. meh. Seems all im doin is setting of virus scanners and shotting gang members dafuq. Almost kike they reskinned thr watchdogs map and done a bungie by no vehicles to give it the feel of a larger enviroment.. it is beta tho so time will tell.. destiny fo life yo..or ten yrs at least. Now wers this damned bwu?

well first they are completely different games, just like when people were comparing Fallout4 and Destiny. that being said I think Destiny is better, Division looks like it will get bored fast, just like Army of 2 and any of those other games

6 RepliesOk so I played both destiny and the division and in my opinion destiny would win if it had more content and if bungie could communicate effectively. The division Beats destiny in content (probably) and Ubisoft communicates a bit better but I like the gameplay in destiny better.
