Why? It would be the same as any other machine gun

Because it was good against oversoul that works similar like Oryx

Umm... That's not how that works. Oversouls and oracles don't count as enemies, so they activate the SGA exotic perk, and you get like all of your ammo back. Oryx is an enemy however, so I would count as you shooting a target, and you wouldn't get your ammo back. So it would be no different than any other machine gun.
