The only way it got deleted is if someone deleted Bungie server info. If it's a console/account issue once that's resolved get back on game & he'll have it.

So I checked bloodfeeders grim moire and he hasn't found that gun at all, no one has. He does only have a level 10 character now but most likely just deleted everything

Liar. So we are supposed to believe that somewhere between ttk dropping (he has moments of triumph shader which he couldn't get if characters deleted before then) and today (when his new and only character has played) he didn't play a single ttk mission or anything. He simply logged in to get his moments of triumph emblem then logged off and then decided not to play again until today and his stuff had been deleted? What's more then likely is he doesn't have ttk as all of his grimoire for ttk is locked and you are making this up in the hope he will get free stuff which won't happen
