become one of the most desirable subclasses to have on your Fireteam? We all know that the Titan bubble saves lives and makes you stronger, and the Warlock self-res saves fireteams from wipes, but with as MASSIVE as those benefits are, those subclasses are still pretty one-dimensional.
Now imagine a Void-bow Hunter with Kephri's sting. He/she gets the clutch invis-res of a Bladedancer, the triple-jump of a Gunslinger, AND a way to bind, mute, and outright kill mobs PLUS a dodge-roll! It's awesome! The Hunters seem to be getting the stronger of the three new subclasses for PvE.
I main (and love) the Warlock class, but dang Hunters, you scary. Lol
EDIT: Sweet mother of Chicken Parmesan... We're trending!

I main a hunter, it's going to a lot of fun. But the diversity we're going to have in fireteams in the future is just fantastic, everyone in a raid running different subclasses? Awesome.

7 RepliesHunters are so weak, I'd rather play with my Titan or warlock any day.
-
2 RepliesNope, hammer time!
-
1 ReplySting lasts 4 seconds without shadow jack. Not long enough to be majorly useful. Sting is meant for blade dancers so you can double dip and be offensive with twitch and hungering but also have invisibility last long for defense.
-
2 RepliesKhepri's Sting is going buh-bye most likely. Probably won't be one of the few exotics to make the cut from y1 to y2.

4 Replies$5 says Sunbreaker turns out to be trash.
another $5 says it gets nerfed if it isnt trash
Edited by Hydration-Gang: 8/21/2015 4:58:52 AMAs someone who mains a hunter i saw it coming i knew the hunter's third sub class would have something to do with Archery and traps and tricks it
-
I am extremely interested in this sub class. Not only for PvE but PvP I am very curious about its potential especially if blink is nerfed harsh.

Dude- imma chain my Fireteam into this massive turret complex
ALL TOGETHER NOW... THIS US OUR SWAMP!!
-
yes I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of khepri's sting on this class
-
Wonder if the now could stop Templar from teleporting quicker if it chains them down

7 RepliesWhy are we ignoring explosive hammers
-
1 ReplyBruh some new nightstalker gloves allows us to carry two smoke grenades and turn invisible in them just raise strength a lot you won't be able move in the smoke or see us
-
2 RepliesEdited by GeneralPoe: 8/20/2015 10:32:22 PMThey probably won't ascend Khapri's Sting to Year 2 because it's too impactful on their game It seems only the lame exotic armor pieces carry over.
-
2 RepliesYea because thrills are so hard to kill
-
Nah, nothing new here. Defender's supresion nades do the exact same thing, and last time I checked any super can "cancel" other. Still this new subclass will make a hunter more useful in pve, not sure about pvp yet.
-
3 RepliesEdited by MandallianGiant: 8/20/2015 10:54:10 PMHow do you know Nightstalker is going to have triple jump? Won't be able to use the Bones of EAO if you're using the stingers. Which none of those exotics matter because they're being left behind by the geniuses at BungieVision
-
Don't forget you can also spec the Hunter Super to tether allies together for increased ATK and DEF.
-
3 RepliesThe Titans are getting a DPS subclass, the Warlocks are getting a DPS subclass. Us Hunters get new toys. Lots and Lots of new toys.
-
3 RepliesHunters are finally being recognized for something that isnt just invisibility for revives or swordbearing. This is nice.
-
Never thought about using sting with the new subclass but now that I think about it it would be so strong
-
2 RepliesEdited by SteveSq: 8/21/2015 11:04:15 AMHonestly the Palpatine Lock with the titan's lightning nades are what have me most excited and I main a titan
-
7 RepliesI still remember the early VOG days in October and November when we were actively discriminated and kicked from Raids because we couldn't help to cheese the Templar or Atheon. We were not-so lovingly referred to as HUNTARDS. The pain still stings . . . . . . . . . .

4 RepliesEdited by PK FIRED: 8/20/2015 5:03:18 PMForce lightning for the win... No You will Die!!!!!
-
No. Hunters are extremely self centered class. You only need Titans and Warlocks for pve.
