become one of the most desirable subclasses to have on your Fireteam? We all know that the Titan bubble saves lives and makes you stronger, and the Warlock self-res saves fireteams from wipes, but with as MASSIVE as those benefits are, those subclasses are still pretty one-dimensional.
Now imagine a Void-bow Hunter with Kephri's sting. He/she gets the clutch invis-res of a Bladedancer, the triple-jump of a Gunslinger, AND a way to bind, mute, and outright kill mobs PLUS a dodge-roll! It's awesome! The Hunters seem to be getting the stronger of the three new subclasses for PvE.
I main (and love) the Warlock class, but dang Hunters, you scary. Lol

Edited by Thunda_Punk: 8/23/2015 11:53:59 PMLike most new things, the herd will steer away. But there will be one badass who "lights the way" and really shows what the super can do in skilled hands. I personally believe this will own in PvP and will be happy to know that I have a teammate running the bow in Crucible sometimes.

1 ReplyThe bow is the worst of the new subclasses... so no.
-
Sorry, but Stormcaller is gonna be OP AF
-
5 RepliesHunters will forever be useless don't get your hopes up
-
And when u use your super it stuns the enemy then u shoot a dragons breath at it and does more damage than gjallarhorn.
-
Lol no
-
All of the new subclasses have perk synergy but this one has an extreme amount of synergy with its perks I imagine a day or two of crucible after ttk "NIGHTSTALKER IS TOO OP NERF ITS ROLL AND WHILE YOURE AT IT JUST NERF ITS JUMPS" Basically what they did for bladedancer
-
5 RepliesTo be honest I think the bow made it weaker
-
1 ReplyI still think tether + Dragons breath will be nice and fun.

Edited by Urban Shade: 8/23/2015 10:56:03 PMI'm a crucible guy and feel disappointed in the void subclass for hunters since it revolves around pve. But hey. I guess we need a support class
-
Edited by NeechLeech_GaMER: 8/23/2015 10:55:39 PMOh hell yes they did and I main a Titan. I can't wait to use the bow in pve
-
I think defender will still be top dog for PVE in TTK. Followed closely by nightstalker, only because bubbles last a lot longer than the "void snare" does. Sunbreaker will definitely be third with abilities like melting point and sunspot. Not to mention the fact that their super is built for add control.
-
Darn. Gonna make three hunters.
-
Bubble > Bow
-
1 ReplyCorrect me if I'm wrong but can't you also summon your fireteam to you as well
-
2 RepliesCan't wait for Nightstalker! :D
-
1 ReplyI only know what I've seen in the trailer, but what it looks like to me is just a void-bow golden gun. Probably three shots? Or maybe even just one?? My poor hunter is retired until I see them in action a bit more :(
-
They see me rolling...
-
5 RepliesPut it like this...when im void walking and i see a friend in trouble i hurl my bomb and most likely save them unless they're in an ultras' face. Same with friends I've been saved from blade captains during lightswitch arc burn nightfalls....but can a nightstalker do that. Yes sort of in pvp...but unless it's void burn wil that tether be useful like an offensive super? Or even support like a bubble? ._.
-
I'm ok and waiting I'm usually support, get medic a bunch so it's all good. Another way to carry witches and titan-rexs ;)
-
As a dedicated Hunter, I approve this comment.
-
Yeah but the bow is like nova bomb except without as much of the aoe effect
-
That dodge is going to be a bitch in PVP.
-
4 RepliesI agree. Warlocks finally get what they deserve lol. Jk but I feel after a while warlocks will ALL go back to sunsinger because it seems just plain better
-
You lost me at one dimensional. :]
-
Don't get me wrong, I love Nightstalker, and I plan on making a new Hunter specifically for the new subclass. I main a warlock, and I have both Voidwalker and Sunsinger maxed out. I run Voidwalker in all occasions except for PoE. In my perspective, Viodwalker is and will be more of a instant damage output subclass compared to Nightstalker. Want to put health out of a boss quickly? Nova bomb. Want to trap multiple enemies in a "net" of sorts and then do some serious damage? Void bow.
