DEAR "32 ONLY" FOOLS...
I just helped a fellow 32 Guardian take 4 level 30's through Crota Hard Mode (including a Crota kill).
ONLY 1 GHALLY OUT OF ALL 6 OF US
so anyone who says "32 only" can -blam!- off

I'm a level 30 and got a gjallahorn today.

First off, I would rather raid with friends than randoms, so if a buddy has a 31, he'll get the nod over a 32 from LFG. THAT BEING SAID, I generally prefer to have the highest levels possible on the squad, NOT because I look down on 30s/31s, but because I raid for gear/weapons (not out of any particular enjoyment at this point), and hard mode is easier and quicker when teammates aren't taking as much damage. Literally comes down to wanting to get everything done as fast as possible, not any kind of elitism or dbaggery. Can't fault people for wanting to finish their raids quickly.

I'm a level 31 (one shard away from 32), who attempted crota hard yesterday. I lol'd. It's perfectly sensible why you need 32s only. So what happened? The four level 30s died in the abyss. The 32 hunter with gally went invis and solo'd the abyss. Lemme guess too. The bridge the four level 30s died, the hunter ran across the bridge, and a 32 warlock self res'd. Oh then what, shriekers that gally two shots? Oh noes. Deathsinger? The level 30s all died before they could kill their shriekers, and the 32s threw rockets at her. Oh crota, the boss that can easily be two manned?

I don't care if I could bring 10 level 3's through on my own. I expect people to work to get to be a viable part of the team themselves.

1 ReplyU fail to see the point of 32 only posts. It's not that it can't be done with 31s or even 30s. It's that they take more damage and deal less damage so when ur using recruitment and have no way of judging skill u use what u can which is light level and weapons. I'll take a 32 any day of the week over a 30/31 when using the recruitment tab. On the other hand, I'll take any of my 30/31 friends over a random 32 bc I know what their skill level is.

I don't have patience to sit in a raid full of bugs and do it with 30's. I would rather do it with other 32's so they can do the most damage. If a 30 is going to have 20% less damage than a 32 then I'm not interested in carrying them. Really all you did was 2 man it while the 32's were "supporting" you aka calling out.
