Blink of panic
Why is it every time a hunter even gets touched by a bullet their instinct is to immediately just start blinking around aimlessly and praying someone will fall in front of their shotgun (lets be real EVERY hunter has a shotgun equipped, and out the entire match) I'll never understand playing the game that scared like it's real life or something, get tapped and just book for the hills, deathly afraid of a legit 1v1, there's no way everyone who plays as a hunter in this game has no skill at all.. but I ask, why do you play a style that requires zero skill? (Not even debatable) I guess it's just like trolling and you just do it for laughs but for me it would take all the fun out of the game, I have a feeling once the new nerfs come about (if it's at all significant) a lot of hunters KD will be plummeting, 90% of the ones I've seen in my time are 100% -blam!-ed if they can't blink around and one shot with invective from 25 yards away

I always have a sniper equipped. Every Titan I have ever met has the shoulder charge shotgun system going though.

A blink of panic? I don't think so. Why? Because it doesn't kill everything around them...they blink to get out of the range of fire. A FIST of panic is the ultimite panic button.. "Oh..I'm getting shot at..I don't see my target..how bout I just..FIST OF PANIC!!!"

Invective has no impact, even if the range is good it takes 2 hits from most close quarter range. Try found verdict or any extended range shot or reduce spread shottys. Blink shotgun lets you counter TLW, Thorn, snipers, supers, fusion, mythoclast and many more! It disorients your enemies and lets you escape a dicey situation. Please register your account with Bungie so we can see your KD, then we can discuss what is really the issue here.

I try to do things that 1) make me more likely to kill enemies and 2) less likely to be killed by enemies. You may have different priorities, however.

I use blink and a shotgun because this is America, and everyone should be able to blink (except titans) and use shotguns (everyone except me) whenever they want!

As a voidwalker, nothing is more fun than blinking into a room full of enemies, droppin the bomb, and finishing them up with a freshly filled corrective measure.

Blade dancer hunter here, no shotty equipped. Blink is used to confuse the enemy and escape certain situations. Why the hell would we sit there and take bullets? Common sense, genius.

Blink of tactical, strategical evasion bending time and space with prestine movement and swift confusion brought upon the enemy.

I play a hunter and the 1 and only shotgun I have is sitting in my vault and will likely stay there until I dismantle it.

I'm a Gunslinger so I don't have Blink and I use a sniper as my secondary. And Warlocks do it just as much as Hunters.

5 RepliesI rarely pvp with a hunter but whatever character I use I'm going to do whatever I can to win. If that means blinking around and shotgunning then that's what I'll do. If that means camping the flag with a fusion rifle then that's what I'll do. Noone has to play by your stupid made up rules.
