Why is it every time a hunter even gets touched by a bullet their instinct is to immediately just start blinking around aimlessly and praying someone will fall in front of their shotgun (lets be real EVERY hunter has a shotgun equipped, and out the entire match) I'll never understand playing the game that scared like it's real life or something, get tapped and just book for the hills, deathly afraid of a legit 1v1, there's no way everyone who plays as a hunter in this game has no skill at all.. but I ask, why do you play a style that requires zero skill? (Not even debatable) I guess it's just like trolling and you just do it for laughs but for me it would take all the fun out of the game, I have a feeling once the new nerfs come about (if it's at all significant) a lot of hunters KD will be plummeting, 90% of the ones I've seen in my time are 100% -blam!-ed if they can't blink around and one shot with invective from 25 yards away

I main a titan and like the high jump a bit more than blink on my hunter, but kills are substantially easier on hunter from my experience so far
-
I play Gunslinger on crucible, but more people seem to get pissed at my PlanC than shotgun :P
-
I never ever use or seed a shotgun don't like when people use one and I think it's a lame gun period. Btw I have 32 hunter,Titan, and lock
-
Pretty bad assumptions made in this post lol
-
7 RepliesIf you were shot at, wouldn't your first instinct be to duck down or move? Your logic is stupid.
-
2 RepliesI am a hunter. I have a shotgun equipped. I have not ONCE tried to use it in PvP, because I understand how it feels to be on the recieving end of OP weapons *cough* fusion rifles *cough*

Edited by OG Thrall: 2/18/2015 9:22:52 PMBlink is situational in my eyes. I rarely use it, but when I do, it'll have my opponent running circles wondering where the hell I went. Then, that other backstab bonus damage talent.. that's great. But, OP, I agree. Most Hunters I face are just desperate and start blinking / spamming their Found Verdicts. Sigh. Scrubs

Somebody is mad.

Im a hunter, dont use blink, rarely us shotguns unless im pissed af! Tend to use snipers! So your point is invalid when you say all hunters have a shotgun equiped!
-
2 RepliesI'm a hunter! 3 things in your post are... Well just plain stupid bro. First I don't use blink.. Second I own one shotgun and have used it one time in PvE never had a kill with one in PvP or even equipped it. 3rd no skill? Every class in this game requires skill to play with if your doing any good for yourself or your team PvE or PvP you must have some skill with something! I play all 3 classes and have yet to bash any other class for any reason! You have to play each one very differently to be effective at least. The fact that you even make a post like this makes me laugh!

2 RepliesBlink of Panic? Never heard of it. Do you mean Fist of Panic?
-
I am a hunter and I occasionally use a shotgun (love my found verdict or sword breaker) after playing all three classes, I feel that hunters require the most skill. As i Titan, I just constantly ran around shoulder charging. When I was a warlock, the scorch guaranteed at least 1 melee kill (with the shield). Hunters do have knife and blink but still, no constantly reliant perk to kill with, only their gun hence the reliance on shotties

I'm a hunter and my loadout is: Word of Crota, P&T and the Calling... I dislike shotguns
-
Edited by Drking7287: 2/18/2015 9:12:14 PMRequires zero skill lol let me guess you're a shoulder charging fist of panic titan. You can stand and refuse to use tactic against an enemy all you want it doesn't make you brave or good it makes you an idiot. And for the record I use gunslinger so no I don't blink and can't. I also don't use a shotgun.
-
I use hand cannons, snipers, both rocket launchers and machine guns, and I use gunslinger with triple jump,
-
Warlocks have blink too.
-
Who doesn't use shotguns in PVP?
-
Edited by MagenkyoKakashi: 2/18/2015 9:08:34 PMbladedancer is only good for pvp super, pve its the best, invis super, invis crouch, melee, agility, etc.

My hunter uses her last word in crucible I don't even have a shotgun worthy of PVP

2 RepliesIn my opinion after playing the 3 classes the Titan is the most basic play style. Offense and defense, with a tiny twist. It takes skill to perfect but I have only seen a few GREAT Titans, many decent because they are needed and feel no reason to get better if they are important they will be included based on their class and not skill. A bad Hunter can screw you over and he'll get yelled at and kicked. A bad warlock will die and immediately Self-Res and get killed again by the swarm of enemies that just killed him. A Titan takes hits for years and then drops a panic bubble or a panic smash and he's fine. MY PERSONAL RANKING Easiest Defender Titan (Saint-14 Bubble) Sunsinger Warlock (Self-Res) Striker Titan (Hulk Smash) Bladedancer Hunter (Invisibility) Voidwalker Warlock (Pokéball of Death) Gunslinger Hunter (Weak overall) Hardest

2 RepliesSounds a lot like someone is getting a little upset for player controlled pixels. Even more so, sounds like you're REALLY upset over someone who is utilizing his/her classes skills to his/her advantage. I hereby request everyone stand completely still when you're getting shot at in Crucible. It's would be only fair and, lets face it. No one wants to shed any more of this toddlerian's tears!

My main is a Hunter and I hate shotguns and haven't used blink in a while
-
I will blink shotgun, I will use the vex I will use whatever I please... I will continue to make dumbass's like you run to the forums crying nerf this nerf that. The point is I kill you and you don't have the required skill to avoid it then maybe your the one lacking in that area.
-
If u can't dodge it by now its a personal problem I blink & hipfire many guns a lot especially scout & handcannons as they're not too good up close My aim is good & usually win most of my 1v1s, its the slow players who get mad at blink. Blink won't get u most if the kills XD Ps blink can only travel in 1 direction, at a fixed distance too... Not hard to predict. Yup

3 RepliesI know right? Why don't they just stand in the middle of the room so we can just shoot them? Jumping away from danger is so noob. I hate having to chase a guy down to kill him just bc he doesn't want to die, super lame. Using abilities in crucible is OP and only for noobs.
-
I use blink on my voidwalker. Thats it. Glide doesn't move you from splash damage quick enough under fire. And yes, I'm currently running with a shotgun. I've yet to hit tier 3 on shotgun kills in grimoire, crucible kills as a warlock, enemy kills as a titan, and crucible as a titan. Blink is hard to get down, but if someone is good with it, just be ready for it. Its not my fault you're mopped up with it. My gamestyle is mid-to-long range. I'll use longbow synthesis before using a shotgun naturally. I'm just rrophy hunting the grimoire now.
