Why are all the best weapons solar damage?
Gjallarhorn
Icebreaker
Vex Mythoclast
Black Hammer
Hunger of Crota
Vision of Confluence
Abyss Defiant
Has anyone else noticed that the best PvE weapons are all solar damage?
Also: who had all of them?? I only have Gjallarhorn through Vision on the list. :3
Edit: I know, the Fatebringer and all, but I'm talking about multiple weapons, not a individual one. [b]MOST[/b] of the highest performing weapons happen to be solar, that's all.
Edit: Yes I know Arc comes in close second with Fatebringer, Fang of Ir Yut, Patience and Time, and Thunderlord.
Edit: Oh snap,just realized we're about to hit 350 replies! It's cool to see that some of you have all of these, and if you don't, best of luck on getting them!

Edit: Yea arc definitely comes in close second. Void is just kinda left out in the cold

Personally, WoC gets a bad rep because its unfairly compared to FB. When compared to Atheon's Epilogue it becomes the best non-exotic void weapon imo. Brings down pretorians, minotaurs, and pscions (sp?) without even trying. Can't forget about Fang, Oversoul Edict, and Light of the Abyss either. All are exceptional weapons and use arc damage. But it does seem like the guns I run most often are solar damage.

11 RepliesFatebringer is arc and arguably the best (non exotic) primary in the game. Light of the Abyss has the fastest charge time of any fusion and is arc. Void weapons just suck. Also the fact that there are still no void exotic specials is really disappointing.

4 RepliesIn HoW there will be more top tier arc weapons. I noticed this the other day. I'm guessing they figured since hive use primarily solar shields we'd need more solar weapons? Fallen use primarily arc shields so I'm guessing there will be an abundance of arc weapons in the next dlc.
