Why are all the best weapons solar damage?
Gjallarhorn
Icebreaker
Vex Mythoclast
Black Hammer
Hunger of Crota
Vision of Confluence
Abyss Defiant
Has anyone else noticed that the best PvE weapons are all solar damage?
Also: who had all of them?? I only have Gjallarhorn through Vision on the list. :3
Edit: I know, the Fatebringer and all, but I'm talking about multiple weapons, not a individual one. [b]MOST[/b] of the highest performing weapons happen to be solar, that's all.
Edit: Yes I know Arc comes in close second with Fatebringer, Fang of Ir Yut, Patience and Time, and Thunderlord.
Edit: Oh snap,just realized we're about to hit 350 replies! It's cool to see that some of you have all of these, and if you don't, best of luck on getting them!

Edit: Yea arc definitely comes in close second. Void is just kinda left out in the cold

1 ReplyTruth would be great with clusters like hunger cuz it tracks so aggressively. It still wouldnt be as good as ghorn, but for void burn it would shred just as hard.

3 RepliesI guess Void weapons are good for... Minotaurs... And psions, with epic on. Also there are no exotic Void special or primary weapons. The only heavy is Truth... Only void exotic period, for that matter.

With that said I have all the weapons you've listed...

Mines Arc) Abyss Defiant isn't even that good. Fang is much better and it is also Arc. I do agree the best are solar but arc is up there. Really isn't much for Void unless you get an engram gun and that's RNG

2 RepliesOh god no take pocket infinity off that list. One of the worst exotics in the game. Otherwise you are spot on, and yeah, most of the best weapons are solar.
