The ones on my t.v. look like they were made on a Nintendo 64 engine. *edit* before anyone says my t.v. sucks, I'm using ps4 with ultra hdmi cable on an lg 4k ultra hd t.v. there's no excuse lol

7 RepliesEdited by o0 eep 0o: 1/30/2015 1:20:20 AMThey may have big plans for the ten year span. But putting out two weeks (maybe) of content every 3 months isn't going to keep a customer base. Replacing content with grinding is not a good business model. Many were already burnt out on grinding as a game mechanic before destiny came out. It was fun when final fantasy 7 came out, their was a sense of progression and it was unnecessary to complete one of the greatest games ever made. They made a beautiful world with nothing to do, not even using large portions of the map more then once. Not adding basics like new bounties on a regular bases is just horrid. It also seems like they had a great app that allowed for easy hook ups with other players in game for grouping up. What happened to that. When people have to use third party sites to do something you showcased in vids before launch you have failed. I've been playing for just a couple days past one month. I don't know how people have been grinding the same content since launch day. Either focus on multiplayer and add a shit ton of maps and modes, as it's pretty pathetic compared to games from the last decade. Or focus on actually being a worth wild and interesting open world. Right now the game is sucking at both.

Developers: Hey, the game seems to be really good, what should we do now. Boss: Scrap everything and add RNG and grinding, so we can get play hours. Developers: Great, more tears from the disappointment of fans.

I've come to learn something about games and movies, and life in general: almost 100% of the time, the anticipation is the very best experience that you'll have with whatever it is that you can't wait for. It's a jaded perspective, but it's the truth. Recognize it, and enjoy the buildup. If the game delivers, it's just icing on the cake.

3 RepliesIt looked impressive, but it's probably just a piece of the pie kind of thing they do at E3s. Remember that incredible Halo 2 footage they showed at one of the E3s? Well then we got the game and it wasn't anywhere there? Then the commentary came out saying something along the lines of: we had to rush to make something for E3? Could be what that was in the video. A rushed piece of pie to try to show something off! Regardless, I'm sure when Destiny 2 comes out and they have the limited edition with commentary they'll probably call out Destiny 1 a lot. However, I do enjoy the game so I'm not demeaning it in anyway.

I always like watching this video. Compare the differences of this game earlier and this game now. Pick up a thunder lord on the ground and you're only a level 7 that's just too nice, we are over 20 and don't get shit

4 RepliesIt's a demo, that is the first couple of missions packed together and a public event. I'm pretty sure I played that game. The parts I didn't play: - Getting dropped off by the tower's cargo carrier. - The extra enemies in the wall. - Slightly different Dinklebot v/o. - Exotics dropping from mini-bosses. I fail to see what the fuss is all about. The original MacWorld Halo demo was a lot different than what eventually became Halo CE. The Marathon alpha was a lot different than Marathon (still using the Pathways Into Darkness engine in fact). Games change. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. What we saw from the original Destiny demos was largely in the retail game. We had a couple vidocs that listed some features that never made it into the final product. But pretty much everything else is in there. I would have liked Destiny to be so much more than it is too, but this is what we got. The more time goes by and the more DLC we get, the more I start to think that there never was going to be a grand epic game. At least it's pretty?
