Browsing through YouTube when I found what destiny looked like a year ago
Its different

That art work, the graphics, the way you can actually leave and enter the walls of Old Russia! IT LOOKS SO AWESOME......Why Bungie? Hell even some of the weapons sound cooler! The yellow orbs rather than blue looked cooler, and I especially liked the fact that it tells you how far things are.

I'm most disappointed with Ghost though cause he seemed to do more, be more free-floating, and those lines from the actor; where did they go? Peter sounds so much better then in the version we have now, better lines and better rehearsed. My favourite line from him in that video, "I think I've overdone it a little!".

Edited by Cobalt: 1/30/2015 6:53:29 PMEhh...the dialogue made me wanna puke. And...pulse rifle design was what scouts are now, and he had a hand cannon as well as his primary. So weird the little difference there are. The upgrade menu looked way cooler.

Level 5 with thunderlord lol. And that hunter cloak I'm pretty sure is not even in the game. It kinda looks like the snake one that the speaker sells but I didn't see any white on it like the one the speaker has.

All I can get from this is OP is complaining about not getting Thinderlord from his first mission.

I'm pretty sure the exotic things where just to sow off what the game has to bring But why did they take out all the animations! Like when a guardian lands! It's so cool!

7 RepliesMechanic wise, it's pretty similar looking. These two things caught my eye though: 1) The entrance of the warlock. It was amazing. It was the entrance of a hero. All that we get in the game is some ghost dialogue followed by a cheap teleport in. 2) The scenery. The background of that entrance is so much brighter. So much more open. So much more epic. When the fallen ship jumped in there was a massive boom and the sky went dark and it warped in and it knocked over the thing and it was [b]AWESOME[/b]. Things [i]happened[/i] in the background. The world looked [u]alive[/u]. That's quite dissimilar to the game we have now.
