I like it, but it reminds me of the... I forget the name... It was the long range microwave to my friends in Reach.
The mechanics are clever enough to distinguish itself from other weapons.
Me personally, I'm hoping for some boxing gloves or the like, CQC all the way.

Microwave gun? Haha I've never played past halo 2 what on earth is that?

I had to google for a bit, it's been a while. Check out the Focus Rifle, I'm sure there are vids out there. It was a sustained laser that was lethal if you could keep it on target. Powerful but had a decent downside in that it gave away your position. If you ask me Reach had some of the best weapons of any Halo title... Man I miss that haha
