While some of you may think it's all good and well to exploit raids, there will come a time where Bungie will intervene. As an Activision subsidiary they are not unfamiliar to the practice of mass sanctions. Blizzard has been mass banning people for a decade now. We are talking twenty, thirthythousand at a time. Bungie will have no problems following suit.
It's a good thing for them too as they already made their money off you. The repeat business from the truly addicted is just an added bonus really.
So by all means, keep it up!
(I may get some Activision stock :o)

5 Replies1% of players don't cheese
-
I can tell you right now they won't do this so get off you high horse
-
They'll ban you for being a dick.
-
Using a lantern explosion to put you in a better position is genius, they could just make the explosion do more damage if it bothers them. Self reviving at 1 second at the bridge as opposed to what? 'Oh I have my super but I'm not going to use it so we wipe' Bungie -blam!-ed up there and should've made the ogre trigger when all the fireteam has made it across. D/C the party leader on Crota is different but again Bungie need to test the raids better before they release them. I'm not against any method, whatever the fireteam wants to do I'll do but I prefer non cheesing. A quick fix would be not to drop loot if certain criteria weren't met. Clearly Bungie just don't care enough to fix it
-
The raids are faster to do legit anyway ;)
-
Haha, so glad I refuse to cheat at this game.
-
2 RepliesThe shear amount of players Bungie would lose is why they won't. Blizzard will ban because cheating/hacking MMOs is ALOT harder and not something the general player can do. Cheesing in Destiny super simple enough that anyone can do it. (Also you have to think of people wrongly banned, like if you happened to go AFK to piss and you come back to cheese, and got banned because you were present.) Imagine if they banned everyone who ever cheesed, including non-standard cheeseless methods. (Like Ledge sniping Oracles/Templar. Which I refuse to call cheesing because you're using AI limits against themselves, like running around a pillar from a berzerk Minotaur while your sheild recharge.) I would never call it "strategy" but I see it no way ban worthy, because it WILL be patched.

Edited by OHIMGONEGETCHA: 1/6/2015 4:21:19 AMMad because no one wants to things your way in a video game you take too seriously.
Asshole hall monitor and future sociopath...
Destiny is my favorite game of the year for sure but I also think it’s probably one of my favorite games of all time. You can say what you want about the story but the moment to moment gameplay is better than any other shooter. It just feels good to play. I don’t know how else to describe it. People complain about the grind but the grind feels so good that I want to do it. In fact I’m hungry to grind more. I just need the barest hint of a reason to go back to these planets and strikes again. I’m convinced Bungie will start getting the story stuff on track. All the pieces are there they just need to be organized and used by the right person. Someone is going to pull all these ideas together and tell an awesome story and when they do we’ll get the tie in novels and the comic books and Bungie will have a game that people will play for a Decade.

14 RepliesHey retard, why do you think Bungie is giving us hard mode for Crota's end at a later date? They planned for players to find these exploits so that they can patch them before we get access to the hard mode and the best rewards. Take your ban hammer and shove it up your ass.
-
People are just quitting the game. Its a feature built into the xbox. No one is modifying anything lol. What next, for activision ban cod players for dashboarding to save their k.d. lmao.
-
If they were to ban every player thats cheesed, there would be no players left. Good luck making profit with 0 players.
-
3 RepliesI'd bet you that 1/3 of the people that play Destiny have done it. You can barely even find a group now that doesn't cheese it. A) they're not going to ban that many people. B) there's no way to tell who's cheating and who's not unless you're the one that pulls the plug.
-
11 RepliesRhey won't ban since mainly probably a majority of the destiny cheesed crota so if they banned all those players thats rep for bungie banning people for something so minor plus when comes out there patching all these giltches and the cheeseing
-
tool.
-
This is why I let other ppl pull their plug to cheese crota and I don't haha I didn't tamper with MY internet to exploit the game. Someone else did :D
-
22 RepliesOne problem, they can't determine adequately that the person's internet or whatever didn't fail when crota kneeled, so can't ban without proof or there will be lawsuits
-
If you are talking about cheating as if in the raid, such as always kneeling crota and bridge it probably won't happen to those guys. They already acknowledged that they knew about people cheesing atheon so I guess they don't mind if you aren't messing with the game on the outside like actually tampering with it.
-
If they are so satisfied with the money then why ban?
-
Its a strike not a raid. Ive solo'd, duo'd and full team no cheese. Stop crying Just be better.
-
womp womp womp .. your post got laughed at bro #areyoumad
-
3 RepliesAnd your an idiot
-
4 RepliesLol all I need is a good reason to leave this game and play 4 others I haven't even touched. So by all means ban us lol I'll grab my popcorn and watch bungie burn!.....then flop like a dead fish lol!
-
One word: money. if they banned everyone who cheese the raid then they would lose 50-75% of anyone who even thinks of doing the raid
-
So why is it that they wont hesitate to ban anyone? Because Activision have banned people in the past? That's not a reason. There is no point to this thread other than you wanting a little attention, well here ya go.
