While some of you may think it's all good and well to exploit raids, there will come a time where Bungie will intervene. As an Activision subsidiary they are not unfamiliar to the practice of mass sanctions. Blizzard has been mass banning people for a decade now. We are talking twenty, thirthythousand at a time. Bungie will have no problems following suit.
It's a good thing for them too as they already made their money off you. The repeat business from the truly addicted is just an added bonus really.
So by all means, keep it up!
(I may get some Activision stock :o)

10 RepliesThe only people who get banned in wow are gold sellers no one else, people need to stop using warcraft as a reference because their customer service is terrible
-
Short of people hacking the game they can't really do anything for people exploiting a problem they didn't catch, sure it's cheap and I hope it's fixed when they release hard mode, but mass banning, I highly doubt it.

3 RepliesIt took longer to read your wall of text than it did to cheese Crota with two swords while he was stuck on his knees..
-
1 ReplyThey need people to find the glitches so they can slowly fix them. Bungie obviously can't find them.
-
It's all about the $ $ $ They just want your $ $ $
-
I will literally bet you money they won't you pseudo stock investor you. Lmao hahaha

2 RepliesIf they banned all the people who glitch there would only be the Christmas guys left.
-
The only time people were banned is by doing something a normal player could t do.... Infinite ammo... A normal player can beat the raid and get the same reward so there not gonna bad all the douche bag cheesers just fix the cheeses
-
If they ban me then I can't buy THEIR future DLCs. It's all about the $$$.

Edited by EmoSceneRawrXD: 1/5/2015 7:54:43 AMActivision subsidiaries? Now, I know how Bungie had some great system back in Halo 3 for cheating, but if they do this, it won't just be because they are an Activision subsidiary. Look at Treyarch/Sledgehammer Games, they sure fail at banning Call of Duty hackers.
Also, Bungie is NOT AN ACTIVISION SUBSIDIARY!
-
They sure didn't have a problem doing it in Halo. Why would that mentality stop for Destiny?
-
I'm not sorry to say this, but Bungie does not have the following they wish Destiny possessed. They begin mass banning, they risk their contract with Activision and their massive funding. Which is why they only resort to banning those who mod their game in some way. Until they can reliably get a solid flock of gamers with what little content they provide, they'll "Flinch" at the thought.
-
2 RepliesThat's fine. Mass bannings lead to angry customers who will see fit to never buy their future products. One person who vows to never buy their products won't matter in any scenario. Hundreds of thousands? They're going to take a large financial hit, and that will force them to change their minds.
-
6 RepliesWhy ban thousands of players who you'll be trying to get another $20 out of in roughly 3 months?
-
3 RepliesDifference, Blizzard bans people because it actually affects other people. The economy and what not. Plus, you'll only get banned for botting really. And maybe showing how to exploit Destiny, to sell DLC you need people who already play. Massing banning is pretty much throwing away money for no reason. Activi$on would not stand for it.

8 RepliesCheesing is not cheating. We are simply doing the jobs of the games terrible testers. If they were good, we wouldn't be able to glitch.
-
Its called finding glitches.
