Heart of Praxis vs Starfire Proto
I already have heart upgraded, and after looking at starfire, i can't really see any reason to buy it. Can anyone argue that star is better than heart? They are so similar..

They are so similar..[/quote] If you use the super only as a revive, then Star is useful. You'll have two nades and ignite, and the intellect stat is good. Make sure to stack discipline on your other pieces... Praxic is much better if you use your super offensively with the extra armor perk. I switch, depending on what I'm doing, so having both is useful.

3 RepliesUsing starfire with touch of flame and Viking funeral is a dps powerhouse as it lets you apply damage over time to fusion grenades. I can't wait to give them a try. However I have 100+ strange coins to burn.

I got it just because he sold something different but I'd rather use sunbreakers for Crotas end or the claws it's dumb because it doesn't stack for 3 grenades and you would have to pick angel of light wich is ok but star fire looks badasss

5 RepliesHoPF gives a bonus during radiance, which is completely wasted if you're a fireborn Sunsinger. Also whoever designed it is a moron and locked the dark red robe color so it can't be changed by a shader. The protocol gives its bonus outside of radiance, but it's a pretty lack luster bonus without maxed discipline. Since you can't stack to three fusion grenades the other two perks in that column aren't really game changing when combined with fusion grenade.

I already have 2fusion grenades...and with the claws I have 2melees..if combined with the grenader perk on a weapon(espically a primary..my tdyk has it with expl rounds) I always have a grenade to chuck...id say claws would be more ideal but since I dont have heart or star I cant tell u which is better...my 2cents

Edited by Erijian: 1/2/2015 5:26:46 PMPraxic Fire for PvE for lots of Orb Generation and Mob control due to being able to constantly throw grenades rather than being delayed half a second or so and for the fact that Fusion Grenade isn't as good for PvE as Solar or Firebolt grenades are in regards to multiple targets, and Starfire Protocol for PvP where with the bonus Intellect you'll your super more often letting you use Radiance (With Radiant Skin) allowing for huge damage reduction, while still giving you the ability to use two Fusion Grenades alongside Angel of Light which is extremely good in PvP if you can control your movements correctly. Those are the only reasons really, as they both provide more Fusion Rifle and Heavy Ammo. You could argue that Grenade Spam with Firebolt or Solar is really good in PvP and that having Touch of Flame and two grenades at the same time could be really good for PvE, but they're situational at best.

They aren't similar. With proto it's more about sunsinger since obsidian mind is Better with void anyway. Id go with claws over protocol also. It's waaaay down on the list
