People who have multiples of the same class (3 warlocks, 3 hunters, or 3 titans) SHOULD ONLY BE ABLE TO RAID ONCE A WEEK!!!
Anyone that does this only deserves one attempt at the raid and it's gear, plain and simple. Transferring gear between your accounts is a joke!

Eh I get it. The grind is for real in this game. I have a Titan I just started and I'm realizing for me to get that toon Crotas end raid ready I need to put in some serious hours, of which I do not have. I will probably start another Hunter and gear swap. It allows me to put in less hours to get more loot in the long run. I'm all for working smarter not harder.

I really don't have the desire to grind out other characters. I think a ticket system should be put in place. 3 tickets and done for raid,nightfall, and weekly. Regardless of character it ultimately evens the board and adds some play time. Right now My only interests are Tuesday for an hour and Friday for 5 minutes. Raid on the weekend if possible.

Dude, quit whining. Everyone has an equal opportunity to do this. I made a new titan just now for a chance at getting good drops for my other titan. Its a way of grinding.

1 ReplyI made a Warlock first, loved it. I made a Titan Second, loved it. I made a Hunter Third, hated it, deleted it made another Warlock. Why do you people care so much about what others do? If some jackass wants to sit there, and recycle several characters per week, he should have every right to do so. For those who are saying this impacts others because people won't accept thirties in their group, how about you start your own group, and make an attempt at the raid. 30s are at a pretty sever disadvantage nearing the end of the raid. Not sating you're useless if you're thirty, but it's just smarter, and much easier if you're raid team has a majority of 31 or higher. The easiest way to get to 31 is to recycle characters in order to get gear.

I call myself efficient. I have 300 hours (day one guy) on my two hunters and can easily keep up with 500+ players. Exotics, iron banner, raids, pvp no problem at all. Additionally i have 2500 grimoire.

3 different raid sets (252 Radiant Shards (189 if u use an Exotic)) 1 Raid set to swap between characters (84 Radiant Shards (63 if u use an exotic) Maybe if mats dropped as frequent as in the VOG.. But they purposly decreased the drop rates for this raid. + the new raid gear will be obsolite when the new raid comes out (same sad story) Correct me if my math is wrong.

i know this is a poor troll attempt but i had a hunter. they are the most boring of the three classes to me, so yea i'll make a 2nd titan to go with my warlock alt.

I doesn't matter most people are going to get to 32 quicker than they got to 32.The drops seem more generous this raid and you have alternative methods to get raid ready quickly.

U play the hand that is dealt to u. If this is the best way to get what u need don't hate the player. Hate the game. The game is dictates how things are done. If Bungie would listen to the feed back and change RNGesus and raid drops then there would not be a need to manipulate a broken system.

I do 5 12 hour nightshifts a week and have still had time to level up all 3 characters to 30,31 and 31. And for some reason, my girlfriend still lives with me, must be doing something right!

Story time... I played for over 300 hours with a Hunter and a Warlock before I even got my first piece of raid gear. Bumped into many players in the VoG who had the full set after around 80 hours play. So I decided to delete my lvl29 Hunter and make two more Warlocks in order to counter the woeful RNG in Destiny, and it worked. The end. The day that I start listening to a random wanker on the internet as to how I should be playing a video game that I bought with my own money, is the day that I'm put in a padded cell and they throw away the key... wanker.

They get said gear, do the obtainable bounties on each character - gear-swapping as they go - and then log off for the night. Also, maybe some weeks they can Raid twice or three times whereas others they can't Raid once. 8 RepliesI agree. The game is meant to be played with the different classes, and it is much more fun playing with the different characters and adapting to their play styles. This is why I don't take people with three of the same character seriously.
