People who have multiples of the same class (3 warlocks, 3 hunters, or 3 titans) SHOULD ONLY BE ABLE TO RAID ONCE A WEEK!!!
Anyone that does this only deserves one attempt at the raid and it's gear, plain and simple. Transferring gear between your accounts is a joke!

If u take the time to level multiple chars so that you can run the raid multiple times its no diffrent then u passing off your maxed weapons across your char

While we're at it let's make glimmer, ascendant materials, motes, strange coins and every other collectible non transferable... Man! Who cares how other people play the game, also why do you even care?

I look at it this way if you play this game more then the average gamer. Then having more then one character makes it more awarding. I personally like my hunter even though they are underrated in PVE. I think if you like one class why not have 3 characters the same class. Allows you to become better at using that specific class which pays off in clutch "VIP" moments. In the end it's your game play it how you want! But this is just my opinion.

I have 2 hunters and 1 warlock for the simple reason, I don't like the look of titans and the way they play, so why would I make something I don't like?

Said this at the beginning of Destiny... once per char or 3 times with one. And of some1 creates a new after doing it 3 times with one He has to wait a week

The fact that you can trade raid gear across characters in a game with weekly lockouts is stupid. The design choices in this game are bad. Desticles will take great offense to this, but they are. I love this game, I just want it to be better.

I used to feel the way you do. BUT with the progression process in this game having 3 of one class is really the only way to reach max level without endless grinding. Dont get me wrong I would NEVER do what the guy that already hit 32 did by deleting and re-running the entire game over and over but if I could raid 3 times in 1 week and maximize gear for one class sure would cut down on the time it takes to reach max level.

why cant i have three titans? I like my titan the most, and want to get him to level 32 as soon as i can. if that means eliminating my hunter to do so, i will.

this is by far the worst forum ever posted. You can make 3 characters the same or different. I choose the same because I like the warlock class and wanted to get more chances at rewards and it honestly paid off. Good luck to you trying to hit 32 for a whole 2 months.

Having 3 of the same characters to get to the max level faster means you are absolutely awful. Get all the classes to the max level (not saying I have all 32s but I have all 30s) then talk.

I agree and disagree at the same time. I view it as missing out on 2/3 of the game, but if that's how you want to play then good for you. Now if you Do have 3 of the same class don't brag about raid gear as you basically get 3x more gear than anyone else.

4 RepliesSo why wouldn't you just argue for vault storage to be unique to each character? Or for each person to only be allowed 1 character? People with 1 of each class have 3x the chance for weapon drops. They can use vanguard commendations, shards, and energy earned on other characters. Personally I don't care if someone has 3 of 1 class. I think sharing stuff through the vault is a cool feature. I see it as hypocrisy to say people with 3x 1 class are bad.

So because you don't agree with how some people play the game you should get 3 times more drop potential? Unless you meet a 32 in iron banner it doesn't even effect you. Even if you did that's what IB is about is showing up people at PvP because you know how to level up quicker.

I am fine with people that run a single class and if they like it more than the others well its their time and should be able to use it the way they want. with that said, I play all 3 classes for the different playstyle and a change of pace. the only problem I think I will end up encountering is those who roll 3 of the same class will probably get to lvl 32 3 times as fast as I can. when the new hard raid comes out I have no doubt that most 32's will not want to raid with 31's and that could then even lead to another disadvantage of not getting access to the raid primaries from the hard raid. by the time I could even get to 32, most people wont want to raid with you on the new hard because you haven't done it before, only the normal one. I ran the new raid with all three this week and got one piece of gear for a single character and the same shotgun all 3 times. if rng continues on a similar path it will take me 36 RAIDS to get all the raid gear for my 3 classes, not accounting for duplicates, and even more to get enough materials to catch up to the rest of the players who play only one class. in short, I may not get a 32 character until 12 WEEKS IN. that's the only reason I feel people who play all classes are at a serious disadvantage
