Zombie Apocalypse Nerf (Among others)
Zombie apocalypse needs a serious nerf. It's like a guaranteed 15 killstreak, the gun uses so little ammo and it kills in an instant.
Edit: Strictly talking about pvp. This nerf shouldn't include pve.
Edit 2: some speculate that Jolder's Hammer, Corrective Measures and The Swarm are just as good if not better, Time To Kill needs to be reevaluated, there are plenty of other Heavy MGs in the game that are rendered completely useless as a result of this.

Edit 2.75: People who are kicking and screaming about me supposedly being mad at heavy guns vs. primaries or secondaries should know one crucial fact. This post isn't about that and you should probably take a literacy test.
The truth of it is that the aforementioned LMGs are better in every circumstance compared to most of the other LMGs. This is unbalanced and destroys the purpose of even having any other LMGs to choose from in the first place.
Edit 6.02x10^23: Nerfing is a strong term. I think bungie should reevaluate the situational effectiveness of all types of LMGs, rather than nerf the few.

It can be stopped with any super. A good team/player will have one or two players with supers to end the guys rain of terror . Stopped. Waits round corner , shotgun /fusion rifle to the face . Stopped. Mid long range, your in trouble, back the hell out or use cover to close the gap . Or if you have the jump with a sniper. Stopped. It's balanced if you look at all the counters against it.

1 ReplyIt's not better than any of the other heavies. They all have combat situations they excell at and ones they don't. I have the Zombie Apocalypse and it's fully upgraded, I did that because mine does void damage and I wanted a good heavy for the raid, but it has a low rate of fire, not so good recoil, and it's accuracy isn't the best either. It's a well rounded hmg, but it dosen't excell at anything. It dosen't need a nerf.... I think Bungie should nerf the community.

People can easily just shoot me outside my optimal range, or use a Fusion Rifle/Shotgun to kill me at close quarters before I can get my shots off. It isn't impossible to get around and, as much as I loath saying this, you just need to get... better.

3 RepliesYou know how I know that you play CoD (despite the cry for a nerf)? You call them LMGs. They're Machine Guns and they are Heavy Weapons. "Light" Machine Guns don't exist in this game. So, since you won't be playing this game after Tuesday, why are you so concerned?
