OP... I think you failed in swaying my opinion to forego purchasing the upcoming expansions. I intend to purchase The Dark Below, House of Wolves and any released after that. Because... 1. I enjoy the game. 2. I feel the amount of content accessible in initial release warrants the $60 price tag. 3. I have sufficient expendable income. As long as there are consistently 3 players on a strike team, 6 to 12 in Crucible, 6 in a raid and at least 12 in explore mode online in my region...I will continue to support Destiny.

98% of the people who say dont buy the content because its already on the disc and blah blah they're screwing us over.. they make me think of them as gypsies like the trailer park kind. Like from lock stock and two smoking barrels lmao. Bungie can gladly take my money for the season pass its what 30 bucks? If anyone is complaining over 30 bucks then seriously consider finding another job,or getting one for that matter.

It is sad but true.... games are not 65 there around 85 to 100 bucks now. Developers cut content off as a way to justify their price increase. dlc's used to be an after thought where games that are completed get elevated, now dlc are made by cutting content off and limiting games. Really they should just increase the price already to show how much games are really worth, that way we can get a finished game rather then games that rely on dlc to finish the game. I'm all for dlc but like them to return to being after thoughts, not cut offs. Anyone feel like you accomplished anything after finishing the campaign? Felt like nothing was really settled, more questions rather then answers. I don't blame bungie for this though; i say our attention should focus more on activision but what ever. At this rate it wont change.

Quit bitching I'm fine with it. They essentially work for the entire games life time with patches, hotfixes, and keeping the servers running, so I have no problem paying for things even if they're already on the disc. STFU.

Frankly, I wasn't going to buy any/all DLC the moment I read the former employee's post on Reddit which I feel is 100% legitimate. All these glitch discoveries are doing is adding to the initial irritation and allowing me to further justify my decision. I (truly) hope the best for those who work for the company (Bungie). Especially those who were thrust into a horrible situation by Activision. That said, I am not going to pretend this is a good game as it truly is average, at best, in terms of other games in the genre. At this point, I see a mass exodus by the time the next Borderlands game (and especially COD for the peasants) arrives. Sure there will be people still playing but, overall, it will pale in comparison from release week and will only go down from there. Games & Companies rarely.... in fact I can't think of one example where they have actually recovered from such a dreadful release with all the criticisms coming in regards to lies & deceit. Games/Companies can recover from bugs/glitches but there hasn't even been a single one that has recovered from the type of backlash currently taking place against Bungie now due to Destiny. If they weren't Bungie and weren't the company that created the Halo and Myth series', they would have been dismantled a couple weeks/week ago. Just look at the history of the gaming industry to see the way these things typically turn out. As someone else stated in a post I created (I will not take credit for his opinion), if they do not have this turned around by December/January, the door will likely be closed on them ever recovering. I fully agree with that as gamer's are a fickle bunch and we do not take kindly to (to name a few things): 1) If we feel we were deceived so we would buy into something to pad the wallet of another 2) If we feel a company/group doesn't belong in our world (ie: suits, ie: Activision).

Technically, its NOT DLC. And no its NOT on the Disc. This game takes after MMOs "All Online" feature. The game world is on their servers. These areas, are addons being built onto the game servers like a normal MMO would. Once built, we buy to Access it. We arent downloading it.

What we don't know is how much work is going on in those zones to this day, and how much has been going on these past months. They may be polished, but they may still be incomplete. How old is the video? If it's from last week (assuming) it may be in a very different state 2 months from now. Who knows. Without a side by side comparison of pictures of the zone throughout the games life, there's no way of knowing if this zone was at 100% when released. Even so, I'll argue this one point: The game has it's weaknesses... Many of them. But locked zones don't necessarily mean that those areas were ever intended for the full game. Those zones could have been worked and added after the final version was already approved and produced, then it truly qualifies as an expansion. The bottom line is we don't have a developer saying anything. It's 100% speculation based on emotions and frustration. It's understandable, but it's speculation at best. Without the data and someone notable coming forth, we can't rest on any single idea. My fingers are crossed that things change. As for me... I already paid for the pre-access pass when I bought the game.

I GUARANTEE YOU WONT REGRET PLAYING MORE OF AN AMAZING GAME!

This games worth it with the doc blocked or not just play the game and enjoy it . Stfu with these posts already if you don't like it then don't play it !

Bungie have also stated that some dlc missions will take you through existing locations, so prepare for more grinding.

Again no one cares what you think. Only a small percentage of ppl care (3% according to a posted survey and industry standards) that the game is lacking content that was apparently suppose to be in the game.
