I hardly call it a film adaptation... I'd call it a separate movie in the same "universe"

4 RepliesThe book was absolutely amazing. The movie however, looks nothing like the book. Max brooks, the author of the book, even said the only relation between the book and the movie is the name. I'm still going to see the movie, just to see how it is.

I got the book a few weeks ago after all my friends started talking about it due to the new film coming out. I haven't had a chance to read it yet though.

3 RepliesYeah, I've read it. Good book, but I was annoyed by some of the author's views. I mean, I know it's a fictional universe, but the Arabs are portrayed as backwards, anti-Semitic derka derkas, whilst Israel is the saviour of the middle east.

iv got the zombie survival guide, no world war z, have not seen the movie either. The book is on my hit list though.
