Really, this is getting out of hand.
If creationism and/or Intelligent Design has any scientific evidence behind it that is contradictory to evolution, please list it here. We can stop debating about it and we can just teach one in schools.
-
If you don't want to believe in evolution it's fine I just want to know how they explain all the remains of prehistoric species that have been discovered over the years.
-
An entire thread, and not one piece of evidence supporting creationism. And people actually think it should be taught in schools?
-
14 RepliesI guess since morals have no scientific evidence no one should be taught that too
-
1 ReplyI never said creationism should be taught in school. But I am still a Creationist.
If creationism and/or Intelligent Design has any scientific evidence behind it that is contradictory to evolution, please list it here.
It doesn't, because the Bible isn't a textbook and purposefully uses simplistic language and story prose to make uneducated peasants more capable of understanding. I consider myself a devout Christian and I'm still bewildered as to why people consider Creationism to be a science or a reputable scientific explanation of events.

We all know this isn't the last of this "debate."
-
2 RepliesHow about this; evolution happened and is real, but may(or may not, depending on your religious beliefs) have been made to happen by a higher power? Now can everyone shut up about it?
-
3 RepliesOh, more atheist trolls making threads and bashing religion in posts. This isn't done every hour...
-
1 ReplyI'm out of here.
-
8 RepliesI believe in God. I also believe in evolution. Amen.
-
2 RepliesHooray for being agnostic! I don't know what to believe!

Edited by Anonymous Dev: 1/28/2013 5:47:26 AM*60 years from now* Grandfather to his grandson: It was on this day that the great Mad Max ended the argument of evolution on an off topic video game forum. We will remember him always.....

14 RepliesWhat happens if they are both are complimentary rather than contradictory? What if it turns out our universe is really some celestial being's fart cloud? What if we are a computer program like Species ALRE and some observer is just watching us? Intelligent design doesn't mean it has to be a god, just that our universe was created by a being of some sort. It could be entirely possible that we were created as some sort of science experiment or we are a simulation of our present life by future humans. Intelligent design and Evolution could exist side by side and compliment each other. It's one thing to doubt a theory, but it's entirely different to reject it and attack it simply because it doesn't coincide with your own ideas. I am not religious, but I am not completely opposed to the idea of a god of some sort. I keep my mind open and willing to accept the possibility if the evidence were to support it. I simply cannot reject the idea, it goes against every fiber of my being. There may be no evidence to support it, but at the same time there is no evidence to ultimately refute it and in the end, I doubt we will ever find out.

One does not simply end the evolution debate.
-
5 RepliesIf it gets getting out of hand then why did you bring it up? Yes I believe in God. Can things evolve? Yes. There is my answer. Don't like it? I don't care
-
7 RepliesThis just in: A forum goer on the internet website of video game developer Bungie Studios has undertaken to " ...end this evolution debate once and for all." Theological and Scientific authorities worldwide are anxiously awaiting the outcome of this monumental decision.
-
3 RepliesIf you look at each "day" as a billion years it makes sense. 7 days is just easier to understand than 7 billion years for people 2000 years ago.
-
The cambrian explosion doesnt match the idea that evolution is suppose to be a slow and gradual process. Also lol at thinking a dumbass board like this will "crack the code".
-
7 RepliesI don't believe in evolution. It's just, you know, monkeys, Darwin, you know, it's .. it's a nice story. I just think it's a little too easy..I just don't buy it.
-
3 RepliesAre you saying boobs are not intelligent design?
-
8 RepliesThere is nothing contradictory between evolution and creationism, and not with intelligent design. I don't see a problem here.
-
But you make the mistake of thinking that evidence will actually convince crazy people.
-
1 ReplyBut I was planning on getting work done...
-
Evolution is the only real answer.
-
1 ReplyIt's not even a debate...
-
2 RepliesOkay: Evolution - supported by science ID - not supported by science The end.
