Bungie.next Beta: Day TWO
Bungie Community,
Welcome to the second day of our beta. It's been 24 hours, and we've detected several shifts in the weather. Feedback has been collected. Enhancements have been discussed. Work has begun on a few changes that have us even more excited about this brave new world.
Keep talking to us. Migrating to this new platform for interaction is a challenge. The more you can tell us what would make things better, the better we will make things.

I appreciate the work you guys have done. But pl0x listen to every piece of feedback. We are aiding you in the creation and formation of this site. If this site sucks, I'll mount your heads on my wall. Don't worry, Alduin's skull will give you some company. Lol, I'm just joking. Here's some ideas: -Return of Subforums -Chronological post order -Thread pages instead of scrolling -Change colour to black -Titles

The white is kinda hard on the eyes after a while, a preview feature would be nice, the share button should be somewhere else because it gets in the way of the topic at the top, and I think there should be a favorite feature. Other than that, I like everything else.

I would like to display more of my followed hashtags on my sidebar. 10 is a good number, but 25 would be even better! Also, a simple way to reorganize the order they are displayed on the sidebar would be excellent (without having to unfollow and refollow in the order I want)

When you go to send a message on the homepage, the send message button sometimes doesn't work and it'll send you to a news story you "clicked" behind the Send Message button. On Safari at least.

This, I don’t even know what to say; it's absolutely terrible (I'm not saying that I could do any better, you guys asked for our opinions). But l I do not like it at all. I like the general over all layout of what I've seen so far, but it just does not look and feel like Bungie. The white background is blinding and over powering, the body font is too small and lacks contrast. The whole hash tag thing I think was a bad move all together, because we all know that people; especially newbie's and particularly people that don’t know how to spell or write well will never figure out how to use it (in all honestly it's too Facebookish). I know you guys are trying to deepen your customers and fan base but I don’t think this is the best way to do it. You guys are popular enough that you don’t need this. As I continue to look around I may post more, but as of right now I say find a way to keep the old and just brush it up better.

I don't want to see what I said to someone and vice versa two years ago everytime I use the "Conversations" UI. If not, then I think Bungie needs to add a toggle there, or hide old messages by default. I don't want to delete them all so I can avoid confusion when I use that feature. -Edit- Also, the pop up in that UI which asks if you want to "leave this conversation" needs to be toggleable, or it just needs to be gotten rid of.

I am taking a guess you can't since your contract with MS is over. I am still looking at what we have but I would love to be able to personalize this white color layout to any color I like. It would be very nice. Member titles need to bring 'em back Bungie. I am pretty sure you know. Is there going to be stats for Destiny? I think the picture avatar to the left by your post should be bigger. If anyone pick their armor from Halo 3, ODST, or Reach you can't really see what they look like. This could cause problems when Destiny comes and we want to pick our armor. People will have a hard time seeing them, me included. It would be cool if you could choose whether or not if we want to select the pages or scroll down to see each page. Previews need to come back, too.

I think there needs to be pages, not just one long endless page of replies. It gets way to confusing if you're trying to find what someone said. Post order should be put in chronological order with oldest first like the old forums. It makes discussions much easier to follow and respond to. The white background is way too much for my eyes, especially when I spend most of the time on this site at night. The script that changes the white back to black/grey is amazing and it suits Bungie's style more. Avatars could be bigger, there's a good amount of space to the left of the post that just seems wasted. Another way to reply to the OP would be nice too rather than just clicking on that 'Comment' button.

Ok, now I'm starting to get alot of weird glitches with the page. Like my screen flashed black and the text went grey, then back, then grey again. Then my window crashed. This really is a Beta lol

Like, easy enough where you can click it any time before you make a new post. Or maybe I'm just a .next noob and can't find it (I can find it, it's just not a simple click away... I think). Oh, and this is a major gripe. Please revert back to reverse chronological in threads. Meaning, oldest posts first, newest ones last. As it was. As practically every social networking site does it. You guys changed a lot, and a lot of it was good. But this particular change was just silly. I'll keep updating this post with feedback, it seems. Whatever happened to the report button?

I like the new site, but I'd like to see bigger avatars, a darker background, and some sort of sub-forums.
