I was wondering why, when enemies are affected by one of these debuffs applied by another player, the game assign the frag to the player who applied the first active debuff. This situation makes it impossible, for example, to perform melee kills on all enemies affected by Jolt and therefore it becomes impossible to benefit from certain exotics, aspects, fragments and armor mods for example hands-on, heavy handed, Burning Fist, facet of blessing etc. That was just one example; in reality, this problem affects far more than just melee builds. This problem has existed for a long time but has worsened drastically since the introduction of Praxic Blade.
ps i know you guys are pro to dodge that kind of issue so im not expecting any1 at Bungie to repond me but its more easy to fix than you think just make that the debuffs no longer matters when determining who was awarded the frag or the assist , warlock main and Praxic blade users just going to lose 3/4 of their frags and nobody cares if all they did is applying a debuff

Edited by Titan: 3/17/2026 7:48:08 PMBy the way, if anyone wants to reproduce the problem to better understand it, get some1 on Warlock Prismatic Gateway artist with facet of dominance(jolt) + song of flames and praxic blade (scortch) and use a titan with wormgod exotic and try to get any melee kills to stack burning fist wormgod perk. its almost impossible, most of your melee kills wont count as melee kills
