Linked accounts
I have a steam account linked to my bungie account that was added about 10 years ago, and I need to unlink it. Anyone know how to help?

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out. As megatron1984 mentioned, since the [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025]unlinking update[/url] from March 25th, 2025, only Twitch accounts are now eligible to be unlinked from Bungie profiles. All other platform accounts, once linked, are linked permanently. Further, as Bungie entrusts players with the security and management regarding linking their accounts, we do not unlink any accounts on players' behalf. Thus, the Steam account in question will remain linked.

As of March 25th of last year we can not longer unlink accounts. Bungie will NOT forcefully remove an account for you.
