So what's the alternative, have a hundred weapons in the current loot pool? It's not the end of the world if you missed any of this loot. Mint? You missed it's prime. There's a current arc rocket pulse. There's the exotic strand booger pulse. Yeartide Apex? Use mida mini. The lustrous set? Meh. Trivial to get restoration. Obsession with loot is entirely on the player, not the devs. I don't care about loot, I'm still having fun. Seems like the loot vacuum players are not. One of us is playing the game incorrectly it seems.
