Have you played the game?
You have very limited pinnacle energy to earn material needed to level each day with rng for higher tier mats added on top of that. The material bloat alone would set these forums ablaze.
No, somehow my Android 13 os won't run the game. Requires minimum 11, so?
Watched a clip and saw material drops. Did look annoying, then again levelling in destiny is annoying too. As far as pve activities, gambit, sparrow racing, fishing it just seems more "fun".

The highlight of the game imo is the gambit mode, though its rewards there kinda suck and the eternity mode, which has a lot of fun unique modifiers, though the drops rates in the activity are also very painful. The strikes are pretty comparable to solo ops minus the solo part in terms of length and there’s only four currently in the game. The sparrow racing, fishing and card game are fun, but get repetitive quick. The fishing is slightly better than the season of the deep fishing. The thing about Destiny rising is that it’s new. New is attractive. Every flaw with the game is easy to dismiss when you’re having fun playing something fresh. That’s why even vanilla Destiny 2 was a ton of fun farming public events. If what’s in Destiny rising released in Destiny 2, it would be hated. A new experience with a new start is way more valuable than most think.

What destiny rising has going for it, is the fact that it has a good on boarding experience for new players. It has a decent campaign, which does a good job of introducing the player to the universe of destiny and the various factions that live in it. It has a solid tutorial, and it goes out of its way to explain every mechanic of the game. They make every tool available to make sure the player understands the universe and the gameplay.

The character progression there doesn't sound like a bother, if you're strong enough to complete activities. Just having prefab choices is by nature limiting on what can be done. As long as we don't get graded, have matchmade fun stuff, and return to simpler gameplay with more rewards.

Far more strict than Destiny 2s scoring system which is very forgiving. Being rewarded more when you perform better is a pretty common gaming feature. For example in Destiny Rising right now, I am unable to beat expanse level 30 due to not getting it done fast enough to get the clear let alone fast enough for the speed bonus rewards. And that’s all cause I dint pay attention and level capped myself by spending 4/5 available artifactual clusters on one character instead of spending 2 on two different characters in order to raise my acclaim cap. Don’t get me wrong, destiny rising is a great game, but it has every mechanic that is commonly complained about in this game turned up to 11. The mechanics are really never the issue, it’s more so the game not being structured well enough to be as old as it is. A new start is needed, cause there’s no clear on boarding and too much stuff releases looking the same as old stuff. Destiny rising reuses so many textures and models from Destiny 2, but because the game looks different, no body is gonna care or pick up on it.
