Thought my characters were stored on Steam, disabled cross save and now can't play!
Hello,
Steam/PC are my primary platform for Destiny 2. My PSN account was where I started and linked for cross save. I assumed that since I chose Steam as my primary platform, my characters would migrate there instead of remaining stored on my PSN linked account (I no longer own a playstation). My old PSN account (the one I used to play Destiny 1) had a bunch of rare emblems that I was trying to link to pick up.
HUGE MISTAKE
I disabled cross save to link my old PSN account, then tried to log into steam/PC and realized that none of my characters were there. Immediately panicked, linked my new PSN account back and tried to re-enable cross save before realizing I have to wait 90 days.
So my problem is that now I can't play the game at all for 90 days because I only play on steam/pc and my characters are locked to my PSN account. Has anyone had this issue and been able to resolve it?? I really don't want to miss out of Guardian Games and the new season drop.

1 ReplyHello there[url=https://tenor.com/bwEBR.gif],[/url] Unfortunately, there is no way to bypass the 90 day cool down that comes from deactivating cross save.

1 ReplyYour active characters are on your PSN account; Cross-Save doesn't migrate anything, it just makes the characters of the account you choose as main (the only) available on the other platforms connected in the Cross-Save. The 90-day lockout is mandatory once you deactivate Cross-Save.
