For the Love of Sweet Baby Jesus, Please Buff Enhanced Perks
Right now, the majority of Enhanced perks give almost no benefit. There are a very VERY select few that actually give you substantial upgrades to the perk itself. Looking at you Archer’s Tempo, Overflow, the new match game perk. I feel that if the grind and material cost is going to be so substantial to warrant a purchase of a perk, it should provide a benefit to the PERK itself. Not negligible amounts of velocity or some other arbitrary stat. Not really a hot take right now, but I’d like to hear some feedback regarding this on Bungie’s part hopefully soon.

I feel like enhanced perks are silly. I think crafting should be similar to the seasonal artifact. Grind to unlock overpowered perks that can coexist with artifact mods, per season. That would make far more sense. Then, as an end game pursuit, maybe you can make Exotics op but itll take a while Something like that

1 ReplyThese are balanced that way Slight buff so it doesn't eclipsed weapon that aren't craftable Its basically making adept weapon with a slight boost of stats

The enhanced version of explosive light is probably the worst, it grants +4 blast radius when the base perk already adds +100 blast radius on orb pickup.

Enhanced does not always mean a direct upgrade… sure, something like enhanced overflow being a direct upgrade is fine because it’s nothing crazy except more bullets. But imagine if something like enhanced kill clip adds more damage or multi kill clip requires less kills. The enhanced perks are fine as they are, it’s your choice if you want the extra boost or not.

They aren’t designed to break the perk, they are designed to have a small boost to what they already do. Like rampage getting a one second duration boost works wonders for example or demolitionist granting a better boost to grenade energy. Its fine the way they are, if enhanced perks drastically enhanced the perks then why would anyone ever run a random rolled weapon or any exotic? Its common sense

Yeah the enhanced traits are lackluster at best. But power crop is a thing they have to watch out for too. So it's a toss up.
