this is ridiculous
I cant even use the glaive anymore
After first few hits there is a delay where i cant use the melee
This expansion is riddled with bugs
im gonna have to start another thread listing all the bugs and glitches since my old one got deleted magically
first few weeks glaive didnt have this problem. It started recently

1 ReplyIt’s intentional, imagine if you could rapid fire that melee lol 😂 that would be stupid unfair
-
can confirm! annoying as hell! and it happens randomly... sometimes after 1 hit sometimes two or three... it varies but happens all the time now, not even a proper delay either its like my character completely freezes up
-
Its nasty like that. Like bro I don't need end lag like I just popped a 3 bar in a fighting game. Just a tip for you guys to kind of get around it, press the shoot button after a short delay when the 3 hit lands. It will cancel the end lag and let you combo again.
-
1 ReplyIt’s like that on purpose…. “RPM” … “3 swings” “pause” “3 swings” “pause” …. It’s on purpose.
-
Only happens if you're not on the ground when starting the combo. It needs to be fixed, but know how to work around it. That said, I want Glaive melee to actually work using the Charged Melee keybinding.
-
Bump. It's getting me killed often.
-
I hold down the block/shield button while stabbing with the glaive, I find that it slightly increases melee speed. Maybe that will help a tad? Give it a try and see how it feels
-
I just press the sprint button after the 3rd hit so that the sprint cancels the delay animation. It gives glaives a consistent combo, and the reason why I will never drop my lubrea!

3 RepliesAre you oversampling? Meaning hitting the button too fast? Games often have coding that reduces how often you can "fire" a weapon. Like a 120 hand cannon for instance. If you fire at exactly 120 rpm then you'll get max fire rate. If you tap it too many times too fast it won't register the shots properly and actually slow your fire rate. Kind of requires you to get a rhythm going. May also occur on glaives I suspect but that's just speculation.

Agreed

Like another person said, I thought it was my controller. I notice that delay after a 3rd melee hit. Now, I shoot the glaive that 4th hit instead of melee.
-
I thought there was something wrong with my controller lmao
-
That might be intentional. Is it always after the first three strikes?
