PHUCK the FOMO already!
Its becoming quite clear this game isnt what we all came to love back in D1. This FOMO nonsense is rediculous. And by fomo i mean fear of missing out. Ie if u take 1 day off from destiny it could screw u in the long term. And bungie seems fine with it.

Good thing that seasonal stuff will be around the whole year this time around 🤷♂️🤷♂️ Honestly if you missed it don't worry to much, its just one of those things unfortunately, sure its okay to be bummed out by it, but don't let it ruin a good game because of one small thing.

This year has been kind of a FOMO mess but they already said they were backing off that model. Correct me if I'm wronged, but I thing all content released this year will be available until next year.

1 ReplyFOMO isn't real, you're just obsessed with the game. FOMO can't affect you unless you're just obsessed with the game. It's in the mind of the individual. While it can be abused by the company, it's still nonexistent in anyone that simply doesn't let it bother them.

The only real victims of FOMO are new light players who start late in the season or year But if you have been here a while and don’t play for weeks or months then come back and are mad cause you missed something, that’s on you Thais is a live service game , it’s not like a traditional FPS with an offline story mode, triumphs and rewards could happen anytime, if you missed something cause you chose to take a break , that’s not Bungies fault,it’s yours!!!

I got Felwinters even though I played basically nothing in Season of Dawn. I just kept track with the game and nabbed it after everyone else put in the effort.

Lmao: 1 day off... you get a lot of days to play a season, there are a lot of hours in every day. No excuse to not have enough time to play seasonal content.

Regarding this entire year of Shadowkeep, I've taken many days off in this current model of extreme "FOMO" and I've gotten pretty much everything done aside from raiding. And that gear just isn't worth it all things considered. Considering they're making seasonal content last for a whole year now instead of three months as was this year's norm, I'll be the bold one and say you're being ridiculous.

Their solution to getting rid of FOMO is deleting all one time special items you can't get any more like the Ramen Coupon. Players: i missed out on getting something. ramen coupon! Felwinters lie!
