Wether you bring back "in orbit dialogue" or just have the strike name displayed while flying in, just do something please.
I used to love knowing which strike I was gonna be doing, then changing my loadouts accordingly. (Either for optimising or using something that worked)
Edit: I am fully aware of being able to check the map, but I'm asking for the exact strike. Just saying.
Edit 2: allow Anarchy to stick to Divinity shields, thanks.

1 ReplyThere are soooooo many problems with this game and you want bugie to put their effort into telling you your strike. This community has something wrong with it.
-
Cause then no one would even bother loading up on the Fallen one in Nessus 😂😂😂
-
There is a way. Go to the nightfall emblems in collections or inventory. The one you are loading into will have the strike specific perks lit up.
-
Agreed. I miss strike intros.
-
Queue obligatory "Whether we wanted it or not...." but on a serious note, I agree with in orbit dialogue. For pretty much all the reasons you stated as well, as soon as I heard "Omnigul is..." I'd turn my PS4 off.
-
6 RepliesYou can't for the same reason why Bungie disabled being able to check who you're matchmaking with in PVP lobbies; they don't want people to leave when it's a bad strike they don't want to do, just like they don't want people to leave when they're being matched against a full six stack.

1 ReplyThere is more than one strike?
-
I'd also like that for Crucible too... Not much point equipping long range weapons or Supers if the map is Burnout - and then having to switch everything around and lose ammo in the process because I guessed wrong.
-
4 RepliesI vote for the in-flight dialogue to return, as long as all of them start with, "Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the _________ on _________."
-
But my boy that would be too easy! Where's the adventure where's the anticipation as you wait for so long loading in!? No no simply impossible!!
really though just having the name in like the lower left hand corner for example would be oh so simple
-
I think you can with charlemagne but I could be wrong.. I know you can see what PvP map you are flying into with it.
-
Strikes are boring Just don’t do them
-
You bring up some good points Legendary Bl4de, and I agree that the Black Garden may not stay among us for long. Something has begun to repair the schism torn by its destruction. Vex now flood the Garden channels to protect it. We must stop the weavers before they seal the Garden and begin to summon back its heart.

Edited by BloodS1ay3r: 2/14/2020 8:23:01 AMAt least dialouge like they had before when loading in.
-
1 ReplyYou can use Discord bots to see what crucible map it is as soon as you start flying in. Im surprised they havent also added the same for strikes.
-
There's a discord bot for that
-
Just press the map / middle button when loading up

4 RepliesTaniks has no House. He kneels before no banner, owes allegiance to no Kell. He is a murderer, and very good at what he does. I have been tracking him since Wolves broke their chains, yes? Now Taniks works for Wolf Pack, but not for long.
-
Whew I forgot strikes were in the game lol
-
There’s zero reason to play strikes lmao But knowing bungie, they’re probably working on it because it is unimportant and fixes nothing when it comes to how pathetic strikes really are.
-
12 RepliesYou play strikes?
-
I would be for this if we got new strikes, but currently we dont need it. Once the ships start flying down, i usually can tell what strike it is from the planet. Then i def can tell once we land, which gives time to change loadouts like you ask.
-
Yep, same thing applies to crucible maps too.
