The Darkness has a form *spoliers soft of*
In the drifter lore card he describes seeing creatures that emit a darkness field that can drain light and kill a ghost. He describes the same creature as Cayde does in his journal. When you get by the ship (twice) your ghost complains of being drained. I'm convinced that what drifter saw was the darkness in true form but I also have questions.
1) If the darkness has a form where was the crew or pilot of that ship on the moon?
2) Who trapped the darkness in the ice cages and where are they now?

2 RepliesThe ships may not have a crew. The traveler is a single object that moves of it’s own accord. The darkness could be the same, except it has thousands of ships. Each ship is weaker than the single traveller. Think of the ships like a part of your body. The one we saw was a toe. So the pyramid fleet is a single entity, just broken up into multiple parts.
