I can’t tell if that was a joke or not. However I was referring to how you are only feeding the problem that is bungie being lazy about content and going overboard with the microtransactions in destiny.

  • What's wrong with microtransactions? It's only cosmetic items and has nothing to do with gameplay or progression. Unlike many other pay to win games. And laziness? There is so much fun stuff to do in Destiny I can't keep up. And much of the content will become free for everyone. Seriously, I don't know what you and other critics of the game want or expect. The game is not perfect but it's really good. I think if Bungie shut down and Destiny went away forever, you'd miss it and regret nitpicking about everything.

  • That’s where you’re wrong. Cosmetics have a major part on a loot based game such as destiny. If they didn’t, then bungie wouldn’t be pushing it so hard and people wouldn’t buy as much of it. The main reason a lot of people play destiny is to get loot that looks cool to them. What’s the point of farming the raid tons of times for specific armor when you could get armor with the same stats somewhere else? Looks. Take those looks away, for example reskinning raid armor, and suddenly a large chunk of players might only do the raid a couple of times for fun if it’s good, or won’t even do it at all. What about iron banner? Surely most people who play it don’t do it for fun since most people I’ve come across have a terrible time playing it, and the weapons and armor for the most part act the same as armor you can get from any other activity. So why do they do it? Because they like the way the armor and weapons look. Cosmetics are a huge part of every game, not just destiny, whether or not you agree with that fact is irrelevant. As for the laziness. Can you seriously tell me with a straight face that bungie reskinning half of not more of previously made content for a dlc they charge money for and then saying “Oh boo boo making content is hard” isn’t lazy? One of the definitions of laziness is showing lack of effort or care, which clearly bungie shows with how they just reuse 90% of their assets, and you tell me that they aren’t lazy? Almost more bullshit than you saying cosmetics don’t matter, which again, they do.
